Which things do you consider luxurious? In my opinion, that's completely subjective. As you increase your standard of living, you just want more and more. What you used to see as a luxury item may now be a necessity. Don't you think that's true?Seriously. If you always go to luxury resorts for vacations, then do you really want to scale back and hang out at a local motel? Or, if you always sleep on 500 thread count, Egyptian cotton bedding, would you go back and sleep on 100-thread-count bedding?
My splurges on luxury items are always on big ticket items or things that make me feel all pampered. Vacations, electronics and a day at the spa are among my splurges.
What do you splurge on?

2. My favorite luxury is getting in a Caddy and driving to Vegas to stay at the Wynn or Red Rock. Those hotels are really nice. If you like the Wynn, you'll probably like Red Rock. But Red Rock is not on the strip. That's what makes it especially nice. It's out the 215 freeway west off the 15 and is out near the beautiful Red Rock Canyon. The rooms all have plasmas and the hotel is only about a year old. Love it! When I don't lose that is......

6. I can't live without my luxury bedding. I only sleep in Legna sheets by SDH. I'm so bad now that if I'm not sure what sheets the hotel has, I pack my own.

7. I do prefer sea world over disney if I goto orlando, florida they have that new aqautica waterpark by seaworld they are building where you go underwater in the water slides next to the dolphins and all kinds of fish and tropical scenery and a huge lazy river through a rainforest or something..it's suppose to be amazing and they have a white sand beach there too..I can't wait till it opens early next year.. If you search under "SEAWORLD ORLANDO"

8. I haven't had the funds to do it yet (wishing I was in Arizona right now..Lol) but I think at this point in my life, I'd LOVE to do a day at a spa. Being disbaled, you gain weight and already start to feel lower self esteem so I think a spa would do the trick for me to not only have a wonderful day but to feel beautiful again. What a treat that's be! Oh - to the guys talking about Disneyworld and such - it's in Central Florida, not south Florida. Just making you aware so if using an agent they know not to go around south Florida first. I lived in that area 14 years and the things to do are never ending! You can also get discounts right at the hotels for attractions and if you can go soon, Disneyworld is running a $59 a night rate on their on-site Hotels! Can't beat that when friends of ours paid upwards to $200 a night. If you have children, the "Character Breakfast is an awesome splurge for them! Whatever you do, wherever you go, enjoy! Life's too short not to! If you can afford it or even if you have to save for it or use the credit card you froze in a block of ice for emergencies (Lol - people REALLY do that!),you really should indulge yourself at least once a year - you're worth it! Happy 4th weekend! PS to poster #1 Robert - MUST you do that on EVERY blog? It's not only annoying but it's so very childish. AOL, can you stop that nastiness posted on every blog? Folks come on these to share and enjoy and we don't need to see that nonsense EVERY blog we visit - thank you!
