What are your kids doing now that schools are out? Too bad you can't take the entire summer off for a vacation! My commute to work has been better lately since not many school buses are out on the road. However, I see quite a few fun-looking summer camp buses now. Well, it must be that time of the year when kids are shipped off to camps! When I was little, my parents were never too big on summer camp. When I was in school, I spent most of my summer time traveling and visiting families. I think the first and the only camp I've ever been to was a cheerleading camp. It was fun hanging out with my friends and meeting other people from different schools, but I could only take about a week of more than a hundred girls running around doing cheerleading moves!
Looking at the list of camps that people search for, I wish I had gone to a space camp. How fun would it be to get all dressed up in an astronaut suit and be in a space simulator?
So what camp is your kid going to this summer? Or was there a favorite summer camp that you went to as a child?

1. Where does a tired, older person go for a recluse.
Anyone know where to go to just relax. SPA, reasonably priced.
Thanks Maggee

2. Summer Camps are not just for kids, While the kids are away the parents can play. There are a lot of wonderful spa getaways available throughout the USA. For those on a budget, choose the less likely choice of Arizona, summer is their down season so there are great buys right now. You can practically get the spa for free. For great Spa Deals or to find a spa near you visit me at http://www.spavelous.com. If you just want to enjoy a great resort in Arizona, then http://www.arizonaresortsgetaway. IF you have to stay home but want to feel like you are getting away then get away for the day at a local day spa. You can find them at Spavelous.
Confidential to Maggie, you are not an older tired person, you are like a bottle of wine, you get better with age. Let me know where you are at and we will see that you have a wonderful spa day. PS some of the new vinotherapy (wine based) treatments are great!! Sign up to find out more.

6. I went to overnight camp as a kid and so do my girls. We send them to Camp Glen Spey, in Glen Spey NY. It is run by the Girl Scouts. Glen Spey has many activities for all different age groups and the prices are very fair. For one week it cost me $400(the fee depends on what program they take but all were within reason for the activities they would be doing) for each girl, but that includes transportion, meals, lodging, and all the activities my kids can handle! As my kids are getting off the bus at home they are already begging to go again next year!

9. You didn't post fully-accessible camps for children and adults with disabilities. The ACA (American Camp Association) provides a great listing of certified camps.
