You've seen their commercials with the slogan "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Is that really true? I don't know because I've never been to Las Vegas. What's wrong with me? I always manage to avoid going there for some reason. Whenever I go on a vacation, I usually end up at a Caribbean beach.I decided to put Las Vegas as one of the places I'd like to visit and started a list of things to do while I'm there. I love Cirque du Soleil, so going to see one of their shows is a must. Of course there are David Copperfield and Celine Dion shows. I'm not into Celine Dion's music, but as an avid 'So You Think You Can Dance' viewer, I'll put her show in my list of performances to go to so I can see Mia Michaels' choreographed dance. Of course, there are always shopping and the casinos.
While doing my research on traveling to Las Vegas, I pulled top searches for Las Vegas to see if there's anything I should add to my list of to-dos while I'm there. I think I'll skip No. 9, thank you. Is there anything else that should've made the list?

61. I went to Vegas for my birthday in August just to say that I've been there. My goal was to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the so called sin city. I saw no sin and the buffet at the Luxor could not be beat. I surpised my fiance with front row seats at the Tony Braxton show and little did I know that I would become part of the show by being invited up on stage for a little bump and grind with the star. The pictures of that event has given me bragging rights not to mention putting Las Vegas on the map as being a bit expensive yet still one of my favorite fun spots.

62. I love Vegas. It is my favorite place to vacation. The best shows are Celine Dion, of course, and "O" at the Bellagio. They are both phenomenal. I like staying at Bally's because they take really great care of me. I also enjoy New York New York. I haven't paid for a room in 5 years, and I haven't paid for food either. It is always comped. All I ever need is gambling money. I even get the shows comped.

65. If you want to have a great time in Vegas, you MUST SEE LOVE!!!!!!!!!! The Cirque show at the Mirage is the best reason to go to Vegas, and the reason why you won't want to leave. Seriously, I'd gladly give up all the other things just to see this show again. I've seen it twice and can't wait to go again. I didn't even like the beatles before I watched. If you like tepenyaki (hibatchi), also try Shayuma Japanese restaurant - so delicious!

66. Vegas is unique. In addition to shows, casino hopping, and pampering yourself, there are many wonderful sites just outside the city. If vacationing means you get much needed rest and relaxation, than you can do that anywhere-even Vegas!

67. I agree the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay was really great, especially for the price. I've seen a lot of shows in Vegas and one of the best was "Le Reve" at the Wynn.

68. No one mentioned that to enjoy all those wonderfully listed attractions, you have to save for a year. Yes you can do Vegas on a budget, but to enjoy shows, dinners and concerts , it takes a pretty penny. Pace yourself :)

69. Vegas is a rip-off. "What happens here stays here" is a sham. To work anywhere, you have to get a police i.d. card. Just like in the Soviet Union.

70. Vegas is all about Big Government & Big Corporations. To work ANYWHERE you need a I.D. card issued by the police! Just like a communist state.

71. Don't forget ART in las vegas - yea, I know - but I was there recently and the awakening arts district is amazing. Check out the Arts Factory at Charleston and Main (http://www.theartsfactory.com) - several galleries with edgy to traditional art, fun, fun galleries like Face Up Gallery (http://www.faceupstudio.com) with "smart art" - very colorful - and the whole arts factory is filled with galleries and artist studios. They are open all the time, and they have a festival every first friday of the month. The best part - it's always FREE. Very cool.

73. Mia:
Please visit the Liberace Museum. It contains a lot of his artifacts and piano's. A must see.
Also see the museum about the nuclear testing in Nevada. You'll be glad you saw both of them.

74. For a change of pace, visit The Little Alie Inn in the town of Rachel just off the Extraterrestrial Highway, which borders area 51.

75. Been going to Vegas for years & I love it every time. So much to do or do nothing at all. No clocks, 24hr. partying, eating, entertainment, or just sleeping whenever you want. RIO"s got a fun free show, LOVE is great, ZOOMANITY is really cool for something different. The strip has world class food at premium pricing or go downtown for more reasonable deals.I recommend getting to know the shuttles & trams you'll get around much easier

76. I used to live in Vegas, in my opinion it is a great town, great vacation place and for the few people who only see "gambling, prostitution, booze, and nothing else but negativity, look around your own hometown, there are plenty of places close to home with gambling, prostitution, adult bookstores, booze, and the list goes on and on. It's all a matter of what you like or not. If it bothers you...stay home, but don't venture out, you may come across something "degrading" in your hometown.

77. I went to Vegas for the first time about a week ago, though I am not a big casino person I had a GREAT time. I went to see George Wallace, I would recommend him highly, was great. I also got out of Vegas for a bit to the Grand Canyon and Red Rock. Make Vegas what you want it to be. If you want a family vacation, it will accomodate, if you want a spa vacation, it will accomodate, if you want a gambling vacation it will accomodate and if you want a fun vacation it will definitely accomodate

78. post #16 doesn't have a clue. Vegas has some of the best restuarants and shows in the world. Look beyond the $2 shrimp cocktail, and find a world of fine dining, spectacular exhibits, and the best in entertainment. I fly 5 hours , three times a year to be in this show-place. And if you are smart at all with gaming, the whole thing can be free, as it is with me each trip.

79. Please skip David Copperfield and spend your money on something worthwhile. It is such a rip off. First the doors open early so you can order drinks, then you sit thought 30 min of commercial telling you how wonderful he is, then he does 3 illusions interupted by the the same commercial and then the show is over. Not worth the money when there are so many good shows available.

80. This is a great town and we go twice a year. Sure we gamble, but the variety of restaurants, shopping and shows far outweigh the gambling. We can gamble here at home, but Vegas gives you a very different experience and the people watching is another show in itself. Walk as much as you can and wear good walking shoes.
