You've seen their commercials with the slogan "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Is that really true? I don't know because I've never been to Las Vegas. What's wrong with me? I always manage to avoid going there for some reason. Whenever I go on a vacation, I usually end up at a Caribbean beach.I decided to put Las Vegas as one of the places I'd like to visit and started a list of things to do while I'm there. I love Cirque du Soleil, so going to see one of their shows is a must. Of course there are David Copperfield and Celine Dion shows. I'm not into Celine Dion's music, but as an avid 'So You Think You Can Dance' viewer, I'll put her show in my list of performances to go to so I can see Mia Michaels' choreographed dance. Of course, there are always shopping and the casinos.
While doing my research on traveling to Las Vegas, I pulled top searches for Las Vegas to see if there's anything I should add to my list of to-dos while I'm there. I think I'll skip No. 9, thank you. Is there anything else that should've made the list?

81. We just returned from a visit to Las Vegas. I am a disabled traveler who uses a scooter so I did considerable “homework” to try to avoid “surprises” there. Las Vegas is an ideal environment for a scooter – fair warning, things are not as close as they seem. We took my manual wheelchair and rented a scooter at the hotel – good decision.
Everything we tried was accessible, We stayed at the Stratosphere and went up to their observation deck and lunch at the Top of The World was excellent. Went to see the Platters, Coasters, and Drifters show at the Sahara. We went Downtown too to see Fremont Street and had a very good dinner at The Pullman Grill at Main Street Station. (Their wood floor made it easy to “scooch” a chair. My wife rented a scooter too on ur “strip” day and we rode the Monorail (we knew from a previous visit that is was scooter-friendly), and went from Mandalay Bay to the Wynn and saw most of the free sights. Lots of people walking on the Strip though, and the locals said this was their slow season!

82. Our first trip to Vegas was FREE 2years ago. I didn't know FREE could be so expensive! I invited my golfing friend from back home in N.C. to go w/me since my husband didn't want to go. The first day we were so awe stricken & so overwhelmed that we walked the entire strip in order to see it all! We were dog tired but it was fun! We did lunch at Circus Circus & Their Hot Dogs are the BEST & BIGGEST ever! Just try to eat the whole thing...it covers the whole plate! They also offer good gaming comps. The Riveria is neat w/ entire front open &is inviting, offers nice gifts w/ play coupons & has a good midnight breakfast reasonably priced. Freemont St. downtown is somewhere you don't want to miss w/tons of lights at Golden Nugget & Binions, where we put a few bucks in our pocket & received great comps...Entire area beautifully lit & Awesome Laser Light Show at night in the covered street area. Totally overwhelming experience the 1st year. The 2nd year was a lot more fun and we traveled by Trolley. It's a great way to get around & cheap, only about $5 for 3 day ticket. The fountains at Bellagio on the strip are absolutely breathtaking & move to the sounds of music as if dancing and it's FREE. (There's a bench across the street for great view). Just for information sake...BE SURE the person or people you go to Vegas with all enjoy what you do, be it shows, dining, gaming, tours or shopping @ with similar sleep habits or you may not have such a great time. For me and my friend, this has become a yearly tradition every fall...It's our Be Good To Yourself-Stress Free 4 days of little sleep, little food & lots of enjoyment & entertainment. So VEGAS, we'll see you not in September but in OCT. Keep those lights on for us...We luv em all!

Well, if you think Vegas ia about a $2 shrimp cocktail, then that shows YOUR intelligence. Have you never dined at "Mix" or "The Eiffel Tower"? The food is delicious and the atmosphere relaxing and classic. The views are magnificent. Maybe you should broaden your horizons a bit!

84. A great afternoon Comedy is the Mac King show at Harrah's. This is very funny and entertaining for all groups young or aged. The Comedy Club at the Riveria is also a good show.

85. KAT:you have obviously only been to the downtown area, or the bad area in town. vegas is one of the best cities in this country.once out of the tourist areas it is one of the cleanest cities anywhere.the people of las vegas take pride in the way they look, and how their city looks. it has more to offer than most anywhere else. there are brodway shows, concerts of any kind, museums, night clubs, martini lounges, and some of the best food and shopping in the world, spas, desert, mountians, a hugh lake, water skiing, snow skiing, mountian biking, anything you could possiably want to do. by the way, where do you live that is so great? i notice you didn't mention that.AND THE REASON YOU SEE SO MUCH ABOUT IT IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT TO GO THERE AND LIKE IT!!! too bad you showed your stupid small brain capacity to everyone on the internet. and i am sorry you probably lost your butt in my city, but we thank you for your donation! ; )

87. Vegas is a must for any Elvis fan. The show at the Sahara staring Trent Carlini as The Dream KIng was unbelievable! I went to Vegas for a convention and really enjoyed my stay there. It wasn't the seedy, sinful city I'd imagined. Of course, sinful pleasure can be found in any city, but Vegas has other things to offer. It's a fun place.

89. Being a 43 year old country hippie from the east, Vegas was similar to dressing up for Halloween for me. My 20 year old daughter and I wore glittery clothes and jewelry and reveled in the diversity of the crowd. The food was great, the weather was amazing (no humidity!) and the people were friendly. We stayed at Circus Circus which was very family-friendly and had tons of free entertainment. We recommend seeing Defending the Caveman at the Golden Nugget - it's on the other side of town- and while you are there be sure to see the light show.

90. I live in Las Vegas, and it is no doubt an interesting place. The strip is tacky, takes hours to walk, is hard to drive, and it seems like a mess most of the time. However, it does have its lure. For example, if you want to see a cheap show, a great one is The Comedy Stop at the Tropicana. You get a free drink and about 2 hours of entertainment for 20 bucks a ticket. I also second the Carnival Court Bar...flair bartending, live music, dancing, and booty shaking contests...it is awesome. The food is also amazing here, and you'd be surpised to find the people can be quite friendly. It really is excitement 24/7. If you like it a little more low key, try staying off the strip in Henderson and rent a car. The Casinos in the outskirts of the city can be pretty amazing as well. We also have great hiking at Redrock, and really cool outdoor shopping areas at the District in Green Valley Ranch.

95. Las Vegas is all what you make of it. It could be classy, sleezy, expensive or inexpensive. I happen to love Vegas and My husband and I are going back in two weeks even though we just spent 8 days there in July! Just walking around and looking in all the hotels and casinos and shops takes you a week! I love Vegas and we don't even gamble except for some slots. And as a few people have already said, the weather is amazing! no humidity(my hair was not frizzy!) and no bugs!!! You can be outside all night and never get bitten by one mosquito, knat or fly---now that is wonderful!!

97. Went to Vegas 1st time last month. My initial reaction was "doesn't it ever cool off here?!! But we walked lots at night, it was good exercise and fun to see all the different sights & lights. Could have done without all the sex cards shoving in front of us--worst of Vegas by far!!!
We stayed off the strip (I'm glad) at Gold Coast. Really not crowded, clean, NICE, & good restaurant food. Loved the Tournament of the Knights at Excalibur. My favorite of all was CEASAR'S PALACE!!! Others imitate, but that was gorgeous--not to miss! Fountains at Bellagio another can't miss.

99. Hey, everybody. Hoping you can help. I'll be visiting Las Vegas for the last week of this month. I'm looking for a bar or restaurant lounge where I can go to relax with a book and a cocktail and listen to a vocalist sing standards (even recorded music would be OK), or a light jazz band, etc. Comfortable seating and softer lights would be great. I'm not looking for a party or dancing or a trendy, chic place; just a place to relax late in the evening. I'm staying on the strip, so anywhere in the area would be great, but I'd go outside the area, too.
It seems all of the usual lounge and bar listings are more for loud rock, techno, or other dance music. I'm just looking for a place to unwind.
Many thanks!
