d up on a boat with no other fun passengers? Or worse, what if you end up on a boat that is not nice? You are stuck on it for days with no other options. After talking with many people that have been on cruises and really enjoyed themselves, I am starting to think that maybe my cruise fears are unwarranted. Really going on a cruise should be fun and I should just give it a chance. And what would be a better time than the winter to get away for some sun and relaxation?
My anti-cruise mentality for the past few years has made it so I do not know a lot about cruises. It's time for some research! I checked out what cruise destinations people were looking for on AOL Search. Naturally Caribbean cruises topped off the list followed by Alaska cruises and Hawaii cruises. I would definitely take a cruise to Bermuda ... or even better, a European cruise. Time to start booking!
Have you been on a cruise? If so, where was your favorite destination? For more information you can look for travel deals on AOL Travel or try searching for cruises on AOL Search.
Top Searched Cruise Destinations on AOL Search:
1. Caribbean cruises
2. Alaska cruises
3. Hawaii cruises
4. Panama Canal cruises
5. Galveston cruises
6. Bermuda cruises
7. Mexico cruises
8. European cruises
9. Mediterranean cruise
10. European river cruises

1. Oh you should definitely take a cruise! You don't know what you're missing. I love to travel and took my first 4-day cruise this year to Cozumel on a Carnival funship. I say that everyone should at least cruise once in their lifetime. So, book a cruise now and then you can determine if you like cruising or not.

2. So, you are changing your mond about cruses, it sounds like you are growing up. But stay at home if your parents didn't force you to eat every thing on the table. Its a great world out there and people in it have different eating customes. so learn to insult them or eat along with them. Now I know why aol has been trying to update my site and my thoughts are go home and send your children back to grade school. This is such a waste of time and expence.Make sure the boss sees this but not if he/she is another kid giving aol a bad name.

3. I have no idea who Jack is, or what he is even trying to say. He does need to learn how to spell. I've never been on a cruise, but this article is encouraging me to at least explore the idea of taking one.

4. I suggest getting on the biggest fanciest cruise ship you can. Big Fancy Ship = more things to do + more people = more fun.

6. Not only have I been on different cruise lines I also have gone by myself and with my children. Best cruise celebrity, carnival great also with the children activities never saw 9,15 they did kid activities and met many new freinds. Cruises are the cheapest way to go with food, drink and entertainment.

7. My children sent my hubby and myself on a 7 day Caribbean cruise for our 40th anniversary. It was a blast. We had a room with a balcony and were seated at dinner with other couples our age and it was random seating at lunch and brekfast. There is something for everyone and sometimes more than you can fit in. I loved it and so did my husband. We can't wait to go again.

8. If you have the time and are available a cruise is a great relaxing vacation from every day life. I have been going once a year for the past 3 years and have reservations with my children and grandchildren for 2008, February on Carnival for my 4th cruise. We usually cruise with Royal Caribbean but decided to try Carnival this time. You must try it at least once. I suggest that you start with a 7 day cruise as I found that a 3 or 4 day was a waste. You are always finding that you have little time to do very much as with a 7 day, or more, you can manage your time and have a much more enjoyable cruise. Get out there and have fun.....Eileen

9. I love cruising. I have been a cruiser since 1983 and keep my trips booked six months to a year ahead.
You can do as much or as little as you wish. No cooking, no cleaning and yes laundry, dry cleaning, the hair salon and just about everything else that you can think of is available on board.
If you are not sure if cruising is for you, try a three or four night cruise just to get an idea of what it is about.
I have met many people that I remain in contact with and a few have become very close friends even though we live far apart.
One of the ways we stay close other than the telephone and the computer is to cruise together.
Live everyday as though it were your last because one day you will be right. Don't put everything off until tomorrow.

10. I have taken 3 cruises on 3 separate cruise ships in the past 9 years (2 Caribbean, and 1 Alaskan). I would definately recommend Holland America's 7 day Alaskan cruise. The attention to detail, food quality, ship and crew cleanliness and overall experience was the best. If you are planning an Alaskan Cruise, do it. You will definately be happy.

11. I was on the Song of America 2x to Bermuda and the Regent Sun 1x to Canada. All three trips were boring. These trips contributed to why I hate to travel.

12. I love crusing. Three years ago I took my whole family on a Caribbean Cruise. Twelve of us went and even the grandchildren loved it. To me it's the perfect vacation as you don't have to do a thing, it's all done for you.

14. Many non-cruisers are afraid of possible sea sickness. First of all, modern ships do not sway anymore in medium seas. Take a North Europe cruise for ten days thru the Baltic Sea. It's an inland ocean with seas no more than about 6 inch waves. You will feel guaranteed no movement. Holland-America is the best as #8 said. See 7 countries in ten days. You'll love it.

16. My daughter, husband and I will be cruising for Christmas. We can hardly wait. We will be at sea Christmas Day. We have been on 2 cruises prior to this one, but never one over Christmas. It should be spectacular.

17. My hubby and I enjoy cruising I have gone on several out of NY Bermuda,Bahamas and now Tortola,VI. I enjoyed the frestyle cruising with Norwiegn as we didnt have to get dressed up to have fun. My first trip to Bermuda was because the island was small and if the ship was boring I could tour the island all day and night. Will cruise before I book a "ground vacation".. Book and enjoy

18. Be careful, you can get an addiction. I'm dreaming about my fourth cruise. My first one (to Alaska) was with my parents (reluctant dad) and they both loved it. Second one with hubby Greece, Italy and Croatia (what else can you ask in life?). Third in the Baltic Sea....So I'm thinking one just fun Mexico? Caribbean Sea? So much fun. You got to do some research, though. There'are so many options out there.

19. Do some reseach on what cruses do to the enviornment and the "labor laws" they claim to have. They purposly register their boats to other countries so they can have not many employees work about 120 hours a week for below the states minimum wage. And they often dump human waste and trash into the ocean while you are traveling. Just like planes, they dump fuel just before they land in case they cause a spark. Ever notic how brown the lawns are of the homes that surround airports? Now think about vacationing. There are green ways to vacation these days. Get with it.
