ing up to the holidays, but I have found that you kind find the best deals afterwards. Everything goes on sale! This is when I do most of my personal shopping ;)I'm not a great bargain shopper, but I love to find a good deal. It is just so rewarding! And you cannot get any buyer's remorse if you buy something on sale. (I have become a pro at justifying anything). So where can you find the best deals?
It is time to get prepared to see what sales people are searching for on AOL Search. I checked it out and the #1 item that came up is auto sales. Hm, I have been thinking about a new car. Naturally people are searching for after Christmas sales. People also want to get deals on DVDs, timeshares and computers.

1. I can understand car sales, after Christmas sales, electronic sales, but cigarette sales? People will buy cigarettes even if they are $10 a pack, I know, I work a grocery store that sell tons of cancer sticks and most of them are at $5.00 and people still buy them. I don't understand why people will spend money on something that they know causes cancer. It's just plain STUPID!!!

2. I'm sick of this anti-smoking crap. This was not an article on smoking pros or cons. This was an article on what people are searching for that have the word "sale" in the title. If this was posted every week you would probably find cigarette sales on that list constantly. There are a lot of smokers in this world and with the rising cost of cigarettes smokers are always looking for a deal. People who are over the age of 18 can smoke all they want, and I wish people would just shut up about it. Please stick to the topic.

5. SusieG,
You sound exactly like my father-in-law. He always said he would die happy with a cigarette in his mouth. When he was on his death bed at 55 he said he wished he hed listened to us , he died of lung cancer 30 years before his time. I was a 4 pack a day smoker . I quit 30 years ago .It was hard but I feel much better and others don't have to breath my second hand smoke. You think you look cool but if you ever quit you will see how dumb it
looks ,especially women.

7. Whatever! The way I see it is that if it's okay to consume foods that has cancer causing hormones, or to take pills that have cancer causing hormones, then it's okay to smoke a cigarette that may or may not give you cancer; as well as every other thing we consume...it's just a chance you take no matter what you stick in your mouth!

9. Comment#2: Susie G: True, this may not be the place to comment on anti-smoking, but I say anytime and any place you can get the message out that smoking kills people is OK by me. You certainly are old enough to smoke, but then people around you have to breath in the second-hand smoke. Smoke at home or in the homes of friends who smoke and don't inflict your habit on innocent people who wish to stay healthy as long as possible. Cancer causes diseases. This is a medical fact. Keep your smoking confined to places where others won't have to breathe in your smoke. Period.

10. Correction on my comment #10: I typed in "cancer causes diseases." It should have read, "Smoking causes diseases, such as lung and esophagus cancer, asthma, emphyzema, COPD and heart disease. Sorry for the error.

11. I am so very tired of non-smokers bitching and whining about smokers. Why should they even care, well because they are right and you, as a smoker, are wrong automatically. But the problem with this is that smokers dont get to bitch at drunk drivers cause until they kill or injure you cant SEE them. It is very much political/cultural expulsion. Any person who starts complaining about smoking should red flag people, because in this world full of sheep being lead to the slaughter, smokers are viewed as bad because of what they do and it is visible. But the real problem is that these sheep want to lead the rest of us into being sheep with them because the only safety for sheep is everyone being identical. Another problem with this is that if you think about what you are talking about.. you might just realize that there are many millions of problems much more serious in this world than smoking will ever cause, but, sadly sheep are too busy running from a little smoke without any fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I say keep sending the wrong kind of smoke signals with your cigarettes ;)

12. All you smokers will have time to reflect on your comments as all smoke related deaths are slow and painful. I am 70 years old and seen many go that way. Not pretty.

13. DLS, I bitch about any one who drinks and drives. I was stupid and used to do that also.

16. Well, I can say that I am a smoker.... I am 24 years old and have smoked since I was just shy of 18. I am currently a pre-med student as well. The way I see it, and just keep in mind... I do NOT wish to be argumentative on this matter, the non-smokers of this country have gotten their way thus far. I live in NY... and we were on of the first states to ban smoking in all places where the public gathers... such as bars, resturants, and such. I do admitt, I enjoy a cig with my hunny (who I'm sure you figured smokes as well) while waiting for our meals or sipping drinks after work/school at a local bar. Now, we can no longer do that... but we tolerate being sent outside because we ARE aware that second hand smoke is just as bad as our smoking.... you never hear us whine about having to go outside in the bitter cold (which if any of you live in the north east you know what I mean.) I am currently going to school so I can be a pediatrician... I know that smoking around kids is harmful... everyone does... anti-smoking ads put out messages to the world clearly, and we smokers are not deaf, we hear them loud and clear... but this is a decision WE as individuals make... and you should not force us to be the way you think we should be. Lets speak hypitheticaly shall we? Lets say you meet someone and they seem like a really nice person and you have a lot in common, except for your choice in religion. Lets say time goes on (and this slight difference doesn't bother as it normally doesn't bother people) and this person starts to force their religion on you. now, please, don't take this the wrong way, but I use religion because people hold their beliefes close and normally don't like people telling them what faith to have. But don't you think that you would be upset if someone was pretty much telling you that you shouldn't be that religiong, you should be this one? Granted, religion is a bad choice to compare smoking to, so I'm sure I have ruffled some feathers, but all I ask is that non-smokers give smokers some sort of break.... because how do you know if we are trying to quit or not? You don't... so try to not put us down so much. My hunny has been smoking since he was 14 and he is now 26 and has been trying to quit for the past 6 years, but he has fallen off the horse each time. Quitting is never easy, the last thing a smoker needs is to feel even shittier then they did before.... especially by comments made by non-smokers or someone who never smoked a day in their lives.
Just some food for thought.... sorry this is so long.

17. When I smoked I smoked 4 pakes a day.I gave them up when they got to $i:00 a pack because I am a penny pincher.I once fasted for 21 days and that was easier than giving up cigarettes so I know how hard it is to quit. Nearly everyone I know that smokes would like to quit and I feel really bad for them when they try, but it can be done.

18. The real issue isn't that smoking is or isn't bad for you. If you have been above ground for the last 40 years or so, it should be fairly obvious and certainly should not require any kind of campaign. The problem is that in this country, there are a fair number of people that have begun to use the legal system to force their beliefs on the rest of us. I am not a smoker, I don't care if people smoke in bars. Go elsewhere if you don't like it. If you are employed in a bar and don't like it, find a different line of work. As far as this second hand smoke business is concerned......short of spending a great deal of time in a confined area with it, I have a hard time believing that it will be the cause of any substantial health hazzard. Again, this issue has become part of the rallying cry for those that seek to infringe upon the liberties of others simply because they are unhappy with a particular product.

19. I am a smoker. I lost 3 of my friends to lung cancer. They were never around smokers. All three lived in smoke free houses and were homemakers. I never smoked around them. When I go to a doctor with a cold or something and I say yes I smoke...the doctor blames whatever I have on cigarettes. He looks no further. I could have something serious NOT RELATED TO SMOKING but I will never know. People are so willing to blame everything on smoking. Air polution caused by vehicle exaust, factories and the like are worse than smoke in my opinion. I find it hard to believe that smoking causes all the things they claim. I think the doctors use it as a cop out.

20. What they fail to tell you at these discount cigarette sites is that at the end of the year they send you a 1099(similar but not form 1099) tax form so you think you got a great deal but what was done was no tax was paid for your state on the smokes and they mail them from a no tax zone, in the fine print you agree to pay the tax, it happened to a man I worked with, end of the year it cost him thousands, also he was buying smokes for friends, needless to say they were not there to help pay of the big tax bill, as with all things on the net, don't be a nut, trust nobody!
Peace out Z
