This is when I do most of my personal shopping ;)I'm not a great bargain shopper, but I love to find a good deal. It is just so rewarding! 21. I'm a father of two - used to smoke, quit. I don't want my kids to smoke. But I hate as much anti-smokers fanatics. What absolutely kills me that we are wasting so much energy on anti-smoking but go to any kids gathering and it's all sodas, pizza, ice-creams, cakes chuck full of fat and sugar. Fity year ago almost everybody smoked and people were healthier, at least healthier looking. So, make our children adicted to McDonalds that causes obesity, diabeties and cancer is OK, but smoking is a no? French smoke like chimneys and healthier than Amreicans. Theis country is just stupid. This is what happens when you ship all intellectual jobs to Asia.

23. I'm not one to tell people how to live their lives, but here is something to consider-
We just buried my brother in law, Bob (47), from cigarette cancer of the lymph system, a slow agonizing death that took a year.
My boss's dad, Pops, has terminal cigarette cancer tumors through-out his entire body, my co-worker, Dian, has visible cancerous (cigarette) tumors out side of her body, and on her reproductive organs and will probably die soon.
For most of my life, I have never met a person who smokes that was healthy or strong.

24. As with most folks addicted to alcoholic beverages, cigaette smokers would like to quit. Yet it's difficult secondary to the highly addictive nature of nicotine-a substace said to be more addictive than heroin. Additionally a substance whose concentration in a cigarette was manipulated by selective breeding of the tobacco plant by the major manufacturers. That's right, they purposfully made their product more addictive over the years. And regaring Second Hand Smoke, it's connection to bystander respiratory diseases was not proven to be of a statistcally significant nature; the results had a p value of grester than 0.10 In other words there is a more than 1 in 10 chance that the results were just a random occurance. Scientists usually do not pay attention to study results with a p value greater the 0.05. which is equal to only a 5 in a hundred chance that the results are a random occurance. Seen another way, most medications do not get FDA approval unless the p value is o.o5 or less. So why did the government act on a p value of o.10? Media pressure..."You gotta do something".

25. Unfortunately many people do harm to themselves everyday. Is it basic human nature to search for pleasure? And how much of our environmental influences our wants and needs?
My parents both smoked. Smokers are great people, as are nonsmokers. Finger pointing is never a good way to solve a problem. Let’s try to separate the behavior from the person. Changing behavior is never easy. As a resident of New York and nearby New York City, I was thrilled to go to restaurants and bars again sans the smoke.
I smoked for pleasure, and I am a good person. I started coughing in my twenties, when I smoked one pack a day. As it is with many smokers, I began smoking when I was a teenager. I decided to quit when I was 30. It was very difficult, but it was my third attempt that stuck. I am 52.
As a former smoker, I kindly ask smokers to be sensitive to our need to stay away from second-hand smoke. I have a six year old, and it bothers me when I am in an area where people hang outside to get their fix. There are many solutions to the smoking habit. It would be nice that smokers would consider ways to quit. I am not angry at the smoker, as much as I am about the behavior and the lack of sensitivity to their nonsmoking human beings.

26. I am a smoker. I've smoked since I was 14 years old and I'm 26. I don't smoke around those who prefer me not to. When I baby-sit, which I do frequently I even go outside my own house to do it. Or when I had a non-smoking roommate. When I visit my in-laws that don't smoke I go outside. As a smoker I am concerned enough about the needs and wants of NON-SMOKERS that I will inconvenence myself even in my own home for their comfort. I'm a healthy person, no infirmaries. My mother is in her 50's has smoked since she was a teenager and doesn't have any smoke-related maladies. My father, however, who has never smoked (my mother sits at an open window across the house - or goes outside) has now been diagnosed with COLON cancer. Not smoking or tobacco related. He is nearly 68 years old. My Grandmother died at the age of 83 after smoking nearly all her life. She beat cancer 7 times, and died due to blood clots. The day she died was the day she smoked her last cigarette. Perhaps she died of a smoke related disease, but I'll be happy to live 83 years while enjoying all the cigarettes I want.
I, personally, have decided to quit because I plan on having children, soon. I would quit for no other reason. I like it. I don't hurt anyone else with my habit. I smoke outdoors mostly, and anyone walking by won't inhale the second-hand smoke, smoke rises and any smoker knows to blow the smoke up or away from people standing around them. Will they SMELL the sent of burning tobacco as they walk by? Probably. But I pass by people with bad body odor frequently, or colognes and perfumes that make me gag. Should I cause problems for those people and the makers of those smells? No, because common courtesy dictates we be polite to those who are different than us - no matter what we truly think. I wish people would give smokers that same courtesy.
This is all I'm saying on the matter. The original article was NOT about smoking. It was about search terms. And I am quite surprised that people are searching for car sales more frequently now than any other time, as most would have loved to get a car for Christmas!!

27. Smokers don't realize the effects smoking has on them or others. I have known people that have had 2+ heart attacks caused by smoking and then light up again as soon as they get out of the hospital. Most smokers are inconsiderate of others around them. I have actually been diagnosed with allergies to cigarette smoke so be a little more considerate of your surroundings. Oh and in case you didn't realize casinos now have designated smoking areas so stay within them please. Just bc you want to kill yourself doesn't mean others do. Thanks

29. BUYER BEWARE! Maybe not for rip-offs, but for the government. I remember reading an article about this once before, but don't know where or when. The cigarettes were so cheap because they weren't charging the taxes. However, the government tracked internet buyers and not only charged them the applicable taxes, but fines and penalties.
