nd did not care about the brand. Revlon, Cover Girl, whatever... as long as it did the job. Then everything changed. One of my college roommates revealed her makeup artillery. It consisted of luscious Mac brushes, smooth Smashbox eye shadows and Bobbi Brown bronzer that was to die for. And this was just the tip of the iceberg. I had no idea that makeup could be so fun!
So I started my own collection. Over the years I have become brand loyal to a few cosmetics companies. I love MAC eye shadow and their StudioFix line. Smashbox and Benefit are also great. Oh, and Chanel makes a seriously fab lip gloss.
There have to be other people out there who love makeup as much as I do. So I thought it would be fun to check out the brands people were looking for on AOL Search. MAC tops off our list and is followed by Mary Kay. I've heard mixed reviews on Bare Minerals but I have not tried it. I have never heard of E.L.F. Cosmetics but it looks like it could be fun and affordable!

41. To the woman who has had difficulty with make-up (feels as though she looks like a clown with make up on) It sounds like you may be happy simply smoothing out your skin tone. I am in the same boat. I buy tons of make up with the thought of wearing it every day, those intentions never lasts. However, I have discovered a light foundation by MAC. You spray it into a brush and then apply all over your face. I do this with no skill, and get a great finish. If it is matched well to your skin, you will not be able to detect any lines. Of all my make-up, this is what works best and easist. Often that's all I wear..on my skin. Good luck!

42. I wear Clinque make up I used to wear Mary Kay but it got to be a hassle to find someone to buy it from from so I switched and I LOVE what I use now it is wonderful I am almost 57 but people think I am much younger. The make up is not the most important thing It is how you take care of your skin. Alexander de Mark off is the BEST I"ve ever used!!!! I don't think it is available anymore if so I wish someone would email me where I can buy it!!!!! Thanks

43. To Sue, who is uncomfortable with makeup....You can do a few things to make your skin look better and not feel like a clown! I personally like Olay skin care and the Cover Girl Advanced Radiance line of foundations. I am 51 and my skin looks much younger. The Definity line is specifically for skin with age and sun spots. These products are not expensive and available at any Walmart. All you need is a little of the foundation, a dab of powder on your nose, a swish of blush and you're done. If you want to go a little farther, one coat of mascara and a light lip gloss. Five total minutes to apply. Go for it!

44. I have been a Mary Kay Consultant since I was 18 about 12 years now. I have worn it most of my life. The new mineral powder is flawless and awesome along with our glamour, and timewise miracle aging set. I am proud to represent it and wear it and I get many compliments on my face. I am also a RN and this is suitable even for sensitive skin and Non-Comedogenic. Mary Kay guarantees all their products 100%. It is a awesome company and product. www.marykay.com/lpiper77 free samples/looks.

45. The only makeup I like best is Covergirl. But I do like the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara too. I've used these brands since I was 16 and I love them the best.
I like the Covergirl foundation, because it goes on very smoothly and blends in with my complexion better.

47. Nicole Miller makeup and is the only brand I use because it's natural. If the consumer knew what was in the makeup they were putting on their face from those other brands they'd throw up, or at the very least be outraged at the deception.

50. I am 65, look much younger. Have been using DHC skin care products for about 10 yrs now, people complement my skin condition. Wouldn't use anything else! Try their Olive Virgin Oil. No, I don't work for them. Here's link: http://www.dhccare.com/dhc/

51. I have been using Bare Minerals for over a year now and love the stuff !..Never able to tolerate foundation previously without that suffocating feel. I think the key to any make-up is good skin care, exfoliation, moistureizer set the stage and make everything work better. I use Bare mineral shadows as well but not hooked on thier mascara

54. Even though I am truly loyal to MAC and Chanel, I found a line I really love; Jane Iredale. A friend of mine worked for the company for lots of years and gave me samples of it for my birthday and I truly love it. It's mileral makeup like Bare Minerals but it is a step above,I think. The application is even simpler and you don't have to mix colors like Bare Minerals. Try it!!

55. I guess the person doing this reseach doesn't have as much knowledge as you need to write this colum. How many of the above have animal by products? MOST
How many are free of mineral oil? I used 20 to 30 companies products, mostly from Deptment stores and I can tell you the one that stands out from the crowd is not on the list. But you can read about it @ARBONNE.COM. I love the skin care system RE9 and people tell me I have never looked better. But best of all they tell me I look younger and at 59 it is wonderful when someone thinks you are 49 or 50. I look believer and I feel better thanks to ARBONNE and my consultant.
