nd did not care about the brand. Revlon, Cover Girl, whatever... as long as it did the job. Then everything changed. One of my college roommates revealed her makeup artillery. It consisted of luscious Mac brushes, smooth Smashbox eye shadows and Bobbi Brown bronzer that was to die for. And this was just the tip of the iceberg. I had no idea that makeup could be so fun!
So I started my own collection. Over the years I have become brand loyal to a few cosmetics companies. I love MAC eye shadow and their StudioFix line. Smashbox and Benefit are also great. Oh, and Chanel makes a seriously fab lip gloss.
There have to be other people out there who love makeup as much as I do. So I thought it would be fun to check out the brands people were looking for on AOL Search. MAC tops off our list and is followed by Mary Kay. I've heard mixed reviews on Bare Minerals but I have not tried it. I have never heard of E.L.F. Cosmetics but it looks like it could be fun and affordable!

62. I am an Arbonne Independent Consultant, and for anyone living in Los Angeles I would be happy to offer a free consultation. The reason why I became an Arbonne consultant is because I really want to help people with their skin problems. It gets confusing when we are bombarded with ads and promises. I want to help teach the consumer what to look for in a healthy line of skin care and cosmetics. Arbonne offers very pure products, which won't clog your pores and will help reduce and combat the aging process with no mineral oil and no animal by-products. 64. Lancome makes the best mascara I have ever used. Estee Lauder comes in a close second. Mac has an awesome concealer. The very best lip gloss I have tried is from a company called IQ Derm. It's pricey but it's so worth it. I too have recently discovered that good make-up is different than the rest, and it doe smake a difference.

66. Merle Norman skin care is at the top of my list. And any type of Mineral foundation, such as those from Neutrogena, Loreal, Bare Essentials, or Sheer Cover is wonderful. (in that order of preference.) But, in the later two, you have to join clubs. I'm hoping Merle Norman will come out with a Mineral foundation.

68. Artistry is number "4" in the world. They are in Ada,Michigan. It is privatly distributed. Unlike Mary Kay you can become a member of Quixtar and order your own make-up without going to your consultant all the time. I wore and sold Mary Kay for 11 years and switched to Artistry and it's great!!

69. I have been using AVON make up & skin care for 25 years. I tried the MK line (and sales) but found it a horrible (& costly) experience. I couldn't stand the smell & texture of other brands & always came back to AVON. I am 48, people think I am in my mid 30's and it's all because of AVON products. 71. I use Bare Essentials/Bare Minerals....and have since they were first introduced. At 55 years of age, I am constantly getting comments on my complexion. It allows minimal to more coverage. You can adjust to the amount you want to apply. But it is the most fantastic makeup I've ever used. But I agree with a previous writer, that I use multiple products such as Ulta eyeshadows, Loreal lipsticks, and Too Faced Injection Mascara....but I swear by Bare Minerals/Bare Essentials.

72. 1) Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Highlighter is a product that I would never be without. It's around $40 but worth every cent. It helps banish shadows and dark circles while softens the look of lines. It can be used for highlighting your eyes and cheekbones. I have 3 - one in my car, one at home, and there is always one in my purse.
2) I also use Bare Escentuals makeup. Have been using it for years and will never stop.
3) One other product I cannot live without is Laura Geller's spackle trio. Face spackle retexturizes the surface of your skin in order to achieve a flawless-looking finish. Lip Spackle conditions the lips and creates a smooth surface for lipstick application. Eye Spackle helps prevent eye makeup from smudging or wearing off.

74. Has anyone really looked at the labels on the products they use? You can look up all the ingrediants online. I have been using Dermalogica for over 10 years. It is the #1 professional skin care line worldwide. The reason is because they are only sold by trained skin therapists, from spa's and doctor's offices. Ask the people that are selling you your skin products if they went to school for 2-3 years to learn about skin types etc. Dermalogica has no artificial colors, fragrances or mineral oil,or lanolin,no SD alcohol or formaldehyde. They don't test on animals and are in recyclabe containers. So go on Dermalogica.com and learn about a great skin care line.

75. To Sue (29 Dec, 8:49 pm)- I have used Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals (BE/BM) for several years and absolutely love the line. I'm not sure what Debbie (#56) was referring to about mixing colors. The foundation comes in a wide range of shades and is very forgiving (I can use any of two or three shades in the line, either alone or by mixing them if I want or need to due to a light tan, etc.). Several of their products can be used on eyes, face, or lips. You can check out this great line by going to QVC.com and searching under Bare Escentuals and/or Bare Minerals. Look for some of the kits; they come with a "tutorial" showing how to use the products. Buying on QVC is easy and their BE/BM prices are below wholesale and WAY below the prices on the infomercials!! And no, I don't work for BE/BM or QVC. I'm just a very satisfied customer of both!

76. I have never been much of a makeup wearer myself. However, I recently started selling Avon, who is the #1 seller of lipstick in the mass market. They also have a great line of anti aging products, some of you may know as ANEW. They are even certain celebrities secrets. They've been featured in some of the best magazines as well. Give Avon a try at www.youravon.com/vsmith8650. They have a 100% satifaction garantee. Nothing to lose.
