nd did not care about the brand. Revlon, Cover Girl, whatever... as long as it did the job. Then everything changed. One of my college roommates revealed her makeup artillery. It consisted of luscious Mac brushes, smooth Smashbox eye shadows and Bobbi Brown bronzer that was to die for. And this was just the tip of the iceberg. I had no idea that makeup could be so fun!
So I started my own collection. Over the years I have become brand loyal to a few cosmetics companies. I love MAC eye shadow and their StudioFix line. Smashbox and Benefit are also great. Oh, and Chanel makes a seriously fab lip gloss.
There have to be other people out there who love makeup as much as I do. So I thought it would be fun to check out the brands people were looking for on AOL Search. MAC tops off our list and is followed by Mary Kay. I've heard mixed reviews on Bare Minerals but I have not tried it. I have never heard of E.L.F. Cosmetics but it looks like it could be fun and affordable!

81. Arbonne is the way to go!!! I was a MAC girl, but then I tried Arbonne's liquid foundation. It is soooo light that it barely feels like you have anything on. And I love the Intelligence Skin care line and color cosmetics. I love the products so much that I recently became a consultant! If you reside in NC and want to hear more about these fabulous pure swiss, botanical products feel free to email me at michelle92aka@yahoo.com.

82. As one poster stated, everybody's skin is different. To me, Mary Kay created a skin nightmare as it caused hives and a rash over my entire face and neck area where I tried the foundation. Merle Norman was too thick and I felt like I had on a mask. I tried Beauti Control, and still use their face powder, Mac pigments for eyes, Bobbi Brown concealer, Smashbox primer (you have to try it), Clarins foundation, Estee Lauder or Bobbi Brown blush, Channel mascara, and Smashbox lips. I'm in my late 40's and told I look to be in my 20's. But then again, I use Shisedo skin care to cleanse my skin.

85. I've used some of the most expensive "Bare Minerals" being one of them did not work for me at all. I unfortunately suffer from very sensitive skin issues and could not use it at all, sent it back "ASAP" so I didn't lose the money that time! Now I use "Physicians Formula/Mineral Wear" so far so good!

87. I love make-up, but I always want to look as natural as possible and not over-do it. My favorite for foundation and shadows is Bare Essentuals, hands down; it doesn't feel like anything is on your skin, but your skin looks great. Mac is my absolute favorite for gloss, lipstick and liners; also I love Mac X mascara. I have tried every mascara you can think of, and the best is Supernova by Fresh, although I also like Mac & Clinique. Clinque is what I use for all my skin care needs, it's the best for my skin. I have spent lots of money trying different products, but it's a lot of fun and very rewarding when you find what works and gives you the look you want.

88. Arbonne is the only make up & skin care products I use. After years of trying all the top lines & having reactions to them, I finally found the best. With no mineral oil, animal products or by products, it really is pure, safe & beneficial. The Re9 NutriMinC Skin Care has reversed my sun damage & fine lines & wrinkles. I am in my 50's, but my skin doesn't give me away. To learn more go to www.susanminor.myarbonne.com

89. There aren't too many women I know that doesn't LOVE make up!!!
I have tried several brands, but I must admit Mary Kay won my heart !!!
My consultant gives me one on one attention, or if I don't want to be bothered, she will leave my purchases at my door!!!
I have tried Arbonne and even though some of those products were good, some smelled "funny". I also got turned off that the Arbonne Consultant was dissing other make up companies with unfounded comments and that seemed so unprofessional to me!!
Let me figure out what I like and want !!!!

91. I have used just about every makeup made on the face of the earth. However, the Guerlain eye cream is the best! The bottle I purchased at Saks lasted me for two years! I have been sucked into Bare Essentuals..and love it. I am 61 years old..and these products are wonderful. I don't feel like I have makeup on..and love the fact that the products are natural..no line, no makeup look. Get it..I promise you will love it.

95. Sheer coverage is available at Bed, Bath and Beyond or on TV. I've been using Clinique for years, but this is a powder foundation, light, evens out skin tones beautifully.

98. As a freelance makeup artist, i'm always on the search for the hottest makeup and skincare lines. Yes I agree that Mac's eye shawdows are truly the best, they adhere well with barely any fallout. My second favorite eye shadows hands-down are by Stila (stilacosmetics.com). I worked for the line about 4 years ago and teuly impressed by the consistency in formula and wide range of very pretty colors. The base shadows are highly recommended for women who have pigmentation problems on their eyelids. the base shadows create a perfect canvas for alayering color and keep the colors true.
O.K. now when it concerns foundation, I found that Awake's foundation...Renovation, is one of the most brilliant products invented. This Japanese line, really did their homework when it comes to skincare as well. Few know about this lne that has an obvious cult following. This foundation works well especially on woman who are older, and want firmness.
But I often use it on fashion shoots, and the results are splendid (very little retouching needed).
On my website page I used the Awake foundation on a model who though had beautiful skin I wanted to heighten the overall tone on her complexion.
