Cellulite ... it is like a four letter word to most women. If you have it, you don't want it. If you are lucky enough to not have it, you want to be able to avoid it. This is such a hot topic that I knew that people had to be coming up with crazy ideas about how to get rid of those unwanted dimples.
Now I knew that there were creams and I thought that in extreme cases lipo would probably get rid of cellulite, but there is so much more than I imagined. Since I know little about the subject, I thought it would be a good idea to see what cellulite removal options people were looking for on AOL Search.
The first search on our list is for "detox for cellulite." Can you really get cellulite detox? There are also treatments as benign as cellulite soap and range to a cellulite patch. What could possibly be in that? And I have never heard of a cellulite machine ... but maybe it works?
Have you found any good treatments out there? Try searching for cellulite treatments on AOL Search or you can check out AOL Body for more info.

21. Sarah, I am 35 and have had cellulite my whole life.
I eat very healthy and have been working out since I was 20. I have SEVERE cellulite going all the way down my legs to where I never where shorts. Endermologie works, the only problem is as soon as you stop it reappears and I used to pay $100 per session 2 times a week. You need about 16 sessions and you start seeing results after 6-8 sessions. Lifting weights also does. Before having children I decided to lift heavy weights one year, even though I was afraid to bulk up, but in about 3-4 months my cellulite was gone and I did not bulk up. Grant it, I still have cellulite because I now have limited time to go to the gym, but these two things and lots of water, is the cure.

22. Cellulite, it's what we eat. There was a book/article
published in the 70's. Pure juice, baked, broiled, grilled meat. Fish, chicken, pork, not sure if you could have beef. Corn once a month, water of course, to flush the fatty waste out of your body, that's what cellulite is, fatty waste. NO JUNK FOOD. No chips, fritos, dip, cheetos. I don't think fries was allowed (fried). Lots of veggies of course, just not corn. Massage the cellulite area, to increase circulation, to help move the fatty waste deposits from your body. Walking, swimming, running, biking, hiking. Chocolate can stay on your body for years. Soap containing ginger increases circulation. Objective is to avoid the wrong foods, increase circulation of the affected area. Creams help with circulation/massage, eating the right food will get/keep cellulite off. It's just not easy to stick to it.

24. Number 12, I have a daughter 8 who is very active, and it seems she is just losing baby fat, but she has cellulite on her thighs, and she has complained about it. I hate that is bothers her so, and I do understand where you are coming from. I was looking for things on here that might help. So far I like the deep massages for her.

27. Ladies, I've been doing research for years in hopes of finding a proven effective way to get rid of my cellulite. I think I've finally found it. Acoustic wave therapy. It's about $150 per session. It'll likely take 10 sessions. But the results last for 6 months and then you go for one session (another $150) but this is maintenance, which lasts for another 6 months.
Cellulite is ordinary fat brought on by that famous hormone of ours, estrogen, that has been pulled out of shape by the elastic fibres existing between the fat cells. The loosening of the fibres (or elastic bands or whatever the technical term is)is what allows the skin's smooth, flat texture to return, making the dimpling go away or significantly reduced. AWT is the only cellulite therapy FDA approved, and it's the electrical impulses/waves that loosens up the bands. This loosening is similar to endermologie, but that is more like a deep tissue massage with suctioning; and endermologie appears to last a shorter period of time.
Whatever you do, don't do liposuction for cellulite. Maybe for other reasons, but not for cellulite.
Good luck to everyone who was as deperate as I was.

28. Well, I think age will catch up with you, it doesn't matter what you do to fight celluite, it will get you; sooner or later; Especially when your in your 50's and 60's; I have fought back all my life; you would have to be twiggy not to have celluite;

29. Wow guys, I have had some Cellulite and got rid of it! I started my own specialized plan. I have been studying this for years and i am thinking about writing a book on it. My plan is working excellent. Most of the these creams,,, junk,,, etc is only the way they make money off of you, ripping you off but not actually giving you a permanent solution! My plan will make you loose the cellulite and stay away from it the rest of your life! I know cuz I am doing it right now!!!! ALSO I am not any type of retailer or sales personal either I am looking for investors for a possible book or people that are in the publishing business to give me information to get started, I have before and after pictures (That look GREAT!) but am still working on it. It takes about 4-6 weeks for noticeable REAL permanent results!!!!!! Which I have fabulous results already!

30. Eliminate SUGAR from your diet, aerobic exercise daily, weight training daily, and your cellulite will DISAPPEAR. All the women I know love their chocolate, and won't give it up. Try a sugar detox for 12 weeks, read the labels on everything you eat and make sure it has no sugar, aka glucose, etc., commit to any healthy diet you are fond of, but I have found that sugar is the enemy, and in my case, cellulite completely disappears from my legs and lower bottom when I go on a "sugar diet", along with using Firm Parts - Lower Body exercise videos (for my legs); or any other DVD or video you can find that targets the lower legs. Can you sacrifice your chocolate, ladies?

31. Kudos to Paige. U are absolutley right. I also am 31 and 2'3" After my second child I nursed for well over a year during that time I was the thinnest I'd been in a while, 113-118 lbs! I did still have cellulite however, once I got more active I weighed more like 118-119 I still had some but not as significant. So you are right to tell Sarah not to loose too much weight. However I am strugggling w/ another battle besides cellulite (it's winter so I can hide it for now) Since October I've gained like 8 lbs..I don't know why. My period came really really early and got off track after that then I just gained the weight, I can't help it but it is all I think about I'm like obsessed with it..While I can still wear a size 2 they are not as roomy. Any idea what is wrong with me? Oh by the way I've been use the BODYSHAPE cellulite cream, it kinda works, I've also been using LEG MAJIC. I LVE this machine though it is not easy to use, it is a hell of a workout.. your legs will definitely feel and look tighter and my ass is a bit higher! had it only a couple of weeks!

35. I went to a massage therapist after trying everything - you name it! I was so sick of spending money on creams, herbs etc. So my girlfriend recommended a therapist that would do deep tissue massage. She used him for some veins that5 she had for years and after a few sessions, they started disappearing - so I figured I'd give it a try.
The therapist used acucups (which I later bought from her office). I've seen them online, or try getting them from a massage place. It's the best investment of $30 that I have ever made. After my second child, I am using these things by myself at home, whenever I need to. Good luck!

36. Hi all,
If anyone is interested in purchasing Wholesale Ion Cell Footbaths let me know. $1299 plus tax. Retails for $2100. Top of the line. Beware of less expensive units, they are basically cheap electronics! I also do sessions in Orange County Calif. and have first hand proof from my clients and how it is helping them! Really do not care what the critics are saying! I have seen the improvments myself.
E-mail me if you would like to purchase a unit or live in Orange County, CA and would like sessions.

37. please beware of responses to this site that are from individuals trying to push and sell their product. it can become very costly. most are temporary 'fixes' at the most. i have heard some intersting and good results with mesotherapy and vela-smooth that help deminish cellulite. of course, eating right, exercise and reducing stress are most important in leading a healthy life. don't buy into everything you read without doing the reasearch and save your money. i believe if there was a miracle product or method we would know it. and to add dr. oz on oprah stated 'men really don't notice cellulite as much as women think they do.' however, we all want to look and feel the best we can. good luck!

They are using coffee grounds.....I myself have not tried this due to the fact that fortunally I have not discovered any cellulite yet, but it seems worth a try!!!!

40. Nah, cellulite is a breeze to get rid of. I'm 56 years old and I can stand next to any 26 year old and outshine her.
All I do is Dr. Rau's Swiss Diet - it's a little bit of a culture shock to get used to, but you will feel better in a matter of days, and your body will shine like it should when you were in your 20's, with energy you would not believe.
It is the best out there and I have been studying diets for most of my lifetime.
The book's on Amazon for about 6 bucks and it is the best there is. No solicitation - just fact. Do it.
