Almost every Sunday, NASCAR is one of our top searched terms. With so many people addicted to the sport, I thought it would be fun to find out who the top searched NASCAR drivers were.NASCAR has grown to become the second-most popular professional sport in terms of U.S. television ratings, ranking behind the NFL. Its 75 million fans are considered the most brand-loyal fans in all of sports and as a result, NASCAR has more Fortune 500 sponsors than any other sport.
I've never been to live race before but I have heard it's pretty amazing. I can imagine the adrenaline rush the drivers get speeding around the race course and trying to avoid crashing.
As you can see our top searched driver is Tony Stewart, who currently drives the No. 20 Toyota Camry and is sponsored by The Home Depot. Stewart made headlines this year after he allegedly punched another driver during a meeting with race officials.
Following Stewart is four-time champ Jeff Gordon, he drives the No. 24 Chevrolet Impala and his primary sponsor is DuPont. The late (but still immensely popular) Dale Earnhardt is fourth while current points leader Kyle Busch is seventh.
Did you favorite NASCAR driver make the list? If not, tell us about him or try searching for NASCAR on AOL Search. Don't forget to check out AOL Sports for the latest news on NASCAR.

62. Tony Stewart gives to all kinds of charities and is a big supporter of Victory Junction. He may be the bad boy of Nascar but he is by far one of the most giving guys on and off the track. He actually has the balls to say what other drivers think but are too afraid to say - hes honest and straight forward and I personally love that about him. He is an awesome driver and I hope he kicks some ass this year! Give em hell Tony!!!! You rock!

63. "I hate NASCAR. The worlds stupidest spectacle with non-athletes sitting on their butts getting credited as athletes. Here's to the next massive high speed pile-up."

67. I have been a "Stock Car" race fan for 50 years. The
best and exciting races were run on dirt tracks. It
is a shame that it has became so commercialized now.
It is a known fact that "the majority of race fans,
get a thrill when the -big one happens-. And when
there is no crashes or spin outs, the race becomes
real boring. Rain did not stop races on the old dirt
tracks. They used to run trucks around spraying
water on the dirt tracks, to hold dust down. Come on
NASCAR, get these fast cars on a dirt track and we
will see some exciting racing.

76. dale earnhardt was and will always be the best who ever hit the nascar track. anyone who watches nascar knows that the #3 gets behind you and you dont move out the way, he moves you out the way. thats racing. pure simple racing. he could put a car where is could not fit, and drive a lil handling car better than any one. you have a comment, email me at dalemcdanell@aol.com

78. Nascar drivers aren't athletes? Try sitting, strapped into a cramped cockpit of a car, for up to 5 hours in 100+ degrees. Try maintaining your concentration and making split-second, life-and-death decisions. Try holding it in for that long while you fight muscle cramps and heat exhaustion, while your car bounces you all over the place or just stops performing the way it should. Granted, Smoke is a self-admitted "fat boy," but some of those drivers work out every bit as hard as runners.

79. Wing nut Kurt and cile, these drivers are from the west coast or so. Most people from the mid west dont like them not only are they cocky but they look like they got their heads squashed in a vice.
