I remember the day my mom told me I was old enough to wear makeup. I was so excited that I immediately went out and bought Maybelline eye shadow, lipstick and blush. At the age of 16, I thought it was the greatest makeup ever. It was about the time I graduated college that I decided to graduate into the higher end cosmetics.
With so many great brands to choose from, my girlfriend and I decided to go to the mall and get our free make up demos. We found that Smashbox cosmetics had some fun products like the eye shadow trios and baked starburst bronzers. We also liked the shimmery lip gloss and blush that Bobbi Brown cosmetics created.
Now that I'm older, I find myself purchasing makeup based on how well it helps me conceal my age rather than how it looks. I recently started using Clarins and feel that their extra-firming foundation works really well.

41. Orgins lip stick in Rain or Shine is has an spf15, minty flavor, and it's between a gloss and sheer lipstick in a tube. The Origins line is excellent and natural!

44. I too am a Mary Kay consultant. No advertisement here, just the heartfelt statement that after years of using (and paying huge prices for) Merle Norman and Estee I found Mary Kay to be of equal or better quality at a more reasonable price. No one ever guesses my age nor that of my girlfriends. Peace and Blessings to everyone.

45. I've tried different brands and so far I think MAC is the best!! Their products are of high quality and have wonderful variety of colors. I have tried Mary Kay and I like their skin care products, but not makeup.Bare Minerals are ok,but the problem is that you get eyeshadows in your eyes and that starts to irritate my eyes, otherwise bare minerals is nice too. I just would recommend to try MAC products. I love them!!

46. I happen to think that AVON has some great products. I have been an Independent Sales Rep for almost 2 years now and I love all of the makeup that they have. I have some bad facial scars from a car wreck and the makeup that I use completly covers them up, this is the only makeup that I have found that does that (and I have tried alot of different things in the past 10 years trying to cover up the scars). They also have great products to help you get rid of wrinkles and smooth out the lines on your face. Feel free to check out my webstore at www.youravon.com/leeanngarrison and if you find something that you like you can order it and have it shipped directly to your door. How great is that!? Have a Great AVON Day!!!

48. I also love Avon and recently started selling it. It basically sells itself, and is so much less expensive than other brands. I have already gotten five reps under me, and that's in just two and a half weeks. The quality is great - and everyone I show the Mark catalogs to LOVES those products as well! Check out my website at www.youravon.com/kstruif.

52. I think some of the best make-up I've used is from Prescriptives and their color print system. Instead of having to find a powder that blends with my skin tone, they color print your skin and blend a powder right there for you and keep altering it until it fits blends with your skin tone. As far as eye shadows go- Laura Mercier. Blushes and lip color- Benefits or Bobbi Brown.

53. Mary Kay, Avon and Beauticontrol reps? Bugger off. No one wants to buy that crap and this is an annoying place to push it on me. I wanted to see legitimate comments from people with favorite products.

59. Please make sure your products are NOT animal tested. I know Chanel, Smashbox, MAC, an Avon do not animal test. You can check out companies that DO and do NOT test on animals. That is just cruel and unecessary. Always for the animals and looking fab too. Here is the link..
