I remember the day my mom told me I was old enough to wear makeup. I was so excited that I immediately went out and bought Maybelline eye shadow, lipstick and blush. At the age of 16, I thought it was the greatest makeup ever. It was about the time I graduated college that I decided to graduate into the higher end cosmetics.
With so many great brands to choose from, my girlfriend and I decided to go to the mall and get our free make up demos. We found that Smashbox cosmetics had some fun products like the eye shadow trios and baked starburst bronzers. We also liked the shimmery lip gloss and blush that Bobbi Brown cosmetics created.
Now that I'm older, I find myself purchasing makeup based on how well it helps me conceal my age rather than how it looks. I recently started using Clarins and feel that their extra-firming foundation works really well.

89. I also once used Mary Kay but switched to BeautiControl and became a consultant in the Sarasota/Bradenton area over 15 years ago. The products are of department store quality but not the price. The products are coded to your skin type and coloring. You can never go wrong!

I use Avon Personal Match Mineral Make-Up, its so much more affordable than the Leading Brand (which i used to use) and there are more colors to choose from. I also use Anew Retroactive Youth Extending Cream to fight aging, you cant even feel it on your skin, it's so awesome!

I was an MK "beauty consultant" for about three years before I figured out that the whole thing is just a money sucking scam.

94. The beauty of what you have shared is that you have options. And, if you are looking for makeup with high intensity color that was originally intended for theatre, you have found the right brand.
Please don't let the previous bloggers opinion be your determining factor of whether you choose to try #1 Combined Color/Skin Care Company in the country for 13 years in a row or another brand.
Fact: Mary Kay outsells units of eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara than Mac by 3 to 1.
Both of these companies are clearly different and in my opinion no comparison. It all depends on what you are looking for in a product and the services the Company offers.

98. I have used Mary Kay and Avon cosmetics and I don't know which one I really one I really like, I have face lotions that I have used and it is Avon... I don't know if I would use anything else... I would try Clarins,If I thought that it would help my skin, I have problems matching foundation to my skin tone,
I am bi-racial , and trying to find foundations to match almost olive skin tone is hard to find... I have tried Merle Norman and their foundation is hard to match skin tone... I have tried even black makeup.. Fashion Fair, and even that is hard to fit foundation, to match my skin tone....
