I remember the day my mom told me I was old enough to wear makeup. I was so excited that I immediately went out and bought Maybelline eye shadow, lipstick and blush. At the age of 16, I thought it was the greatest makeup ever. It was about the time I graduated college that I decided to graduate into the higher end cosmetics.
With so many great brands to choose from, my girlfriend and I decided to go to the mall and get our free make up demos. We found that Smashbox cosmetics had some fun products like the eye shadow trios and baked starburst bronzers. We also liked the shimmery lip gloss and blush that Bobbi Brown cosmetics created.
Now that I'm older, I find myself purchasing makeup based on how well it helps me conceal my age rather than how it looks. I recently started using Clarins and feel that their extra-firming foundation works really well.

121. yes these are all great- but do not forget that beauty is on the inside and you should not try to cover it up.

122. My Goodness, can anyone state their favorite makeup with plugging themselves anymore...It is truly disgusting. Try to get an opinion from someone but everyone has a hidden agenda..Here's my 2 cents, I am 48 and just changed all my makeup to Maybelline, Revlon and L'Oreal but use only the mineral line. I love it..Changed my lipstick color to the pinkish line instead of the deeper siennas...Much better..Try the mineral line, can be bought at CVS and what's even better if you don't like it return it..PS: I went with the liquid Mineral foundation from Maybelline...Looks great, skin looks good..Very pleased..

126. I am an Avon rep. and the company tells you AVON is the leading beauty company in the world. I don't believe it, because no one buys it! Even I buy other brands that are better than mine!

134. WATCH OUT! Not all make-up is as safe to wear as you might think! Some lipsticks have lead in them (the kind that last all day). Make-up manufacturers are not required to list ingredients like in food. However, chemicals do seep through your poors and into your blood stream! The cheaper the make-up the greater danger, generally speaking. Research these websites for more info preventcancer.org toopretty.org Use the safest and least to cause an allergic reaction... 135. These women are plugging themselves because they are desperate for customers, have more product than they can sell, and are most likely up to their eyeballs in debt.
They were probably told lies like:
"The product sells itself!"
"You can't sell from an empty wagon!"
"Our products will fly off your shelves!"
"You can easily make an executive income for part time work!"
All of these women who are promoting themselves are trying to climb their pyramid's ladder and will try to sell you more than what you need, recruit you to sell for them, and them try to convince you to buy more that what you need to sell to your non-existant customers.
Think about it......if these products are so great and these women are so successful, why have they reduced themselves to posting on the internet in the middle of the afternoon to try to dig up customers and recruits?

138. You Mary Kay, Avon, and Arbonne ladies! These posts are supposed to be comments. Not sales pitches!! Do you REALLY think that someone will contact you??? Believe me all we are thinking is "She is just saying 'such and such' is SOOOOOOOOO great because she wants to make money." DUH!! And I commend the Avon Rep., Cyndy for being so honest about the company she represents. We really need more people like you in the world! That Mary Kay stuff just makes your skin break out, believe me, b/c it happened to myself, my mom, sister, 3 aunts, and a cousin. Now THATS the truth!

139. I completely agree with MK Opinion. I lost more than $2000 when I started my Mary Kay business. DOn't make the same mistake.
