It's finally baseball time again. Which means most of my favorite things in the world are back! The smell of hot dogs and popcorn in the air combined with the sound of wooden bats and leather gloves at the ballpark signal America's pastime is back in full swing.
While opening day was technically last week in Japan when Manny Ramirez, Big Papi (David Ortiz) and the Red Sox split a two game series with the Oakland A's. The season began in earnest on Monday when thousands of people skipped work to head out to all the day time games at the ballpark.

2. Favorite baseball player- Prince Fielder ! He's a great ball player but he also has a kind heart - Hope he can do more in the way of bringing awareness of the horrid slaughterhose conditions , maybe more people will(step up to the plate )and stop this cruel inhumane treatment of already doomed animals.Famous people always get further - being a vegetarian is a great - I am too.I just hope he'll do more to help make a change for the sake of defenceless animals .
