It's finally baseball time again. Which means most of my favorite things in the world are back!The smell of hot dogs and popcorn in the air combined with the sound of wooden bats and leather gloves at the ballpark signal America's pastime is back in full swing.
While opening day was technically last week in Japan when Manny Ramirez, Big Papi (David Ortiz) and the Red Sox split a two game series with the Oakland A's. The season began in earnest on Monday when thousands of people skipped work to head out to all the day time games at the ballpark.

Oh and Lisa, looks like your Jake got busted with something on his pitching hand yesterday. I don't think he will try that at Dodger Stadium next week when the home team gets to retrive the balls

37. I met Chase Utley when he was with The Red Barons in PA very outstanding guy..Along with Geoff Geary they would sign and talk for hours to the kids..Now we have The Yankees minor league team and through the first year Shelley Duncan was the fav..Good luck to guys who inspire!!

39. Cubs are going to rock this year. They won it all in 1908, so why not 2008 makes sense. Cubs fans come celebrate with me for a great 2008 season to come.
