I suppose that I am as guilty as the next person of watching the tragic, cruel, and often hateful things that people do to one another on reality TV. Insert the meanest thing you ever saw on 'Survivor', 'Rock Of Love', 'The Hills' or even the 'Apprentice' here.
But everyone now and then there's nothing better at 'cleansing the palette' than a dose of law & order reality TV style. Our DVR at home is full of episodes from these dispensers of daytime justice.
The cases typically run the gamut of friends, family, business partners, and complete strangers bringing charges against one another. The conflicts range from petty grievances and misunderstandings to surreal episodes that can't be described without pictures and a vivid imagination. Those are my favorite!
Thank goodness that we can rely on road tested 'judicial' wisdom from people like Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown and, if you're lucky enough to have him in syndication where you live, the world famous Judge Wapner.

282. I find that the other judicial TV shows pale by comparison to that of Judge Judy. Point blank, Judy takes no crap from anyone and most, if not all the people who appear on her show need to be put in there place. If you want to call that a Bronx attitude then so be it, but I feel that if there were more judges like her around there would be a lot less people trying to take advantage of othere people. Go Judy!

283. judge judy is a dirt bag, she has her so called court room in a warehouse in downtown los angeles, the whole show is a joke. she should be taken off the air and run out of town on a rail. I would compare her to a clown, all she needs is a big red nose to go with her lace collar

286. I like Judge Alex, The People's Court and Judge Judy. They don't beat around the bush but tell it like it is. If you're acting like an idiot, they'll be sure to let you know it. The one I don't like is the "one who takes the law into her own heart." I think her name is Christina. That was the judge who couldn't believe that a woman was suing her 24 year old daughter for money her daughter owed her. She thought it was terrible that the woman was suing her "child". Please! When the child is old enough to work and make money - they ought to quit mooching off the parents for everything!

287. I don't like Judge Judy at all.She is very impolite and rude, mostly the time.She doesn't show respect for the litigants.Very few few time she does.
Looks like she is playing her show only for national tv, then became popular,and people would like to buy her books or videos.That's all

"Don't Pee On My Leg and Tell Me It's Raining." If that doesn't make you mad about the judicial system and the Social Services system in this country I don't know what will.
