I suppose that I am as guilty as the next person of watching the tragic, cruel, and often hateful things that people do to one another on reality TV. Insert the meanest thing you ever saw on 'Survivor', 'Rock Of Love', 'The Hills' or even the 'Apprentice' here.
But everyone now and then there's nothing better at 'cleansing the palette' than a dose of law & order reality TV style. Our DVR at home is full of episodes from these dispensers of daytime justice.
The cases typically run the gamut of friends, family, business partners, and complete strangers bringing charges against one another. The conflicts range from petty grievances and misunderstandings to surreal episodes that can't be described without pictures and a vivid imagination. Those are my favorite!
Thank goodness that we can rely on road tested 'judicial' wisdom from people like Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown and, if you're lucky enough to have him in syndication where you live, the world famous Judge Wapner.

44. Judy is just a b*tch, rudely and on purpose. I suppose it gives her some perverse sense of power to act like she does, but it hardly substitutes for good judgement. She relies on her own quirky "intuitions" about the truthfulness of testimony given, usually with little or no factual basis.
The only people I feel sadder about are the poor dumb litigants that choose to make themselves available to such poor treatment by appearing in her "courtroom". They must be receiving a pretty hefty appearance fee-- but no amount could be sufficient compensation for allowing her to make them looks like such fools.

48. Judge Judy is much better than Joe Brown. She's rude, arrogant, and unlikable a large portion of the time, but is also someone who is fair, intelligent, and nothing gets past her. I'm amazed at how she can absorb all that information and keep it straight. I wouldn't have wanted to grow up with her as a parent, but if I'm in court and am on the level, I want her as my judge every time. She may not be a beauty or have a good personality, but she is the best at what she does.
Judge Marilyn is good, but was better when she first started. Now is getting louder and more arrogant.

53. I watch them all, but haven't seen Judge Jules. I like: (in this order) Judge Alex, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Judge Christina Perez, Judge Hatchett (good with the teens), Judge Christina Milian, Judge Maria Lopez, Judge Joe Brown, Judge David, and Judge Toler. Judge Mablelean, I love as a person, but just don't care for that show. Yes, I have lots of time on my hands.

59. Judge Toler from Divorce Court is the worst! She is ghettoish and she is always making references to her husband. You know when you claim to have a husband that is wonderful..he usually isn't. She always makes it about her and her crazy sounding marital life. We want Judge Maybelline back!
