I have to admit, I love wearing jeans. Not only are they comfortable but you can dress them up or down depending on your mood. Over the years, I (unfortunately) have become a jeans snob. With so many designer labels out there, it's become much easier to find the perfect pair for my body type.I like when designers who are experimental with their fashion. When you shop through designer lines you can find so many different styles, like skinny jeans, wide-leg, low rise and denim skirts.
A few years ago I had a girlfriend who raved about how much she loved Seven Jeans. She went on about how they were hip-slimming, butt-lifting and great-fitting. So I had to try them out for myself and I have to say she was absolutely right. These jeans extremely comfortable and they fit great, too. Since then I've also purchased jeans from Lucky Brand, Guess and Adriano Goldschmied. My absolute favorite pair of jeans are Hudson Jeans, they are so comfortable and stylish.
Lately I've had the itch to test out some new jeans. I decided to see what our top searched designer jeans are on AOL Search. I've heard True Religion jeans fit well and are very comfortable. Celebrities are always sporting Rock & Republic jeans. Have you heard of Not Your Daughter's jeans? They're also called "tummy tuck " jeans and claim to flatten your stomach, slim your thighs and lift your butt. (Time to hit Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.)

63. Citizens of Humanity are great...I just bought some of their skinny jeans and they are a perfect fit. I wish I could've afforded more. Some 7 For All Mankind are cute too. I like Ed Hardy too, but they run small.
I've tried True Religion, which are really cute, but they run a little small in the butt, and then when I go up a size they are too big everywhere else.
Guess is hit and miss with me, but when they fit they are usually very flattering. I can get Guess jeans at an outlet for $40 too.
Levis are hit & miss also...it seems they've changed the cut of their jeans recently and aren't as flattering. I have a cute pair I got for $10 at an outlet though.
Cheap brands I like in the juniors department:
Paris Blues & Bubblegum. I've also gotten great jeans for $20 at cheapy mall boutiques like Papaya & Angl.

64. Wow, the ones I like best are your first three on the list. I love Sevens, my first designer jeans. They are soft and comfortable, but I have to wear a belt to keep them up. My Lucky's are comfy but the fabric is more hefty and hugs my hips/waist better w/o a belt. My True Religion's (newest) Joey type (like the dark blue with yellow stitching) fit the best on hips, but are on the long side -- but with hi heeled boots are fine. I'm not young so the low-cut ones are an incentive to keep the muffin-top fat off.

65. Oh, another comment or I should say a question? If I wanted to alter my jeans to shorten them, how is it done? I assume you have to keep the hem stitching but doesn't that make them less flared on bottom?

66. I think more people need to be woken up by earthquakes so they know what is going on around them and in the world! This is God way of saying "get out of your soap opera lives and fishbowls and do something!" Also when it comes to the military it is the Bush Administrations policy under the orders of daddy Bush to take everything a wat from you even if you are intitled to it. They do not want you to get ahead!

67. I have been selling jeans in my boutique in Florida for 40 years, the hottest jeans out right now are Crazy Daisy, who can afford True Religion and other very expensive jeans?
The key when buying jeans is to make sure the fit around the waist and rear end are ideal, we sell butt lifting Jeans and they take a girl's rear and lifts it up and flatters the entire body from the waist down.
Why would you wear dark denim in this heat?
Why would you wear wide flares?

68. I am a size 18, so I can't wear most the jeans on this list. It figures! My favorite jeans - hands down - are SVOBODA! You can get them at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Von Maur and a whole bunch of other stores, but I usually get them via their online site www.svobodastyle.com. I hope you try them out & like them!

70. My favorite jeans are Bill Blass, because they fit beautifully and the denim feels great to my skin.

72. um...i prefer walmart ;-) Who would pay over a hundred dollars for a freaking label on a couple pieces of denim sewed together that won't hold for a long time anyway? I for one would rather spend my money on something worthy of my time and hard work...money doesn't grow on trees, now does it?

73. Sorry if I'm busting a few bubbles, but I absolutely REFUSE to buy a pair of jeans over $60. All these "specialty" jeans companies have taken a page out of bottled water companies' playbook and have really suckered a lot of folks into beleiving that if "only" $90 or less is spent on some jeans, that person isn't worthy of living, or being called a fashionista or stylish or "with it". Sorry, y'all, but I tried quite a few of the lines listed above and find them too low rise, too tight in the thigh, overly embellished or whiskered, not to mention overpriced, and I AM a fashionista! If I spent $100-$200+ on denim, the denim better be hand delivered from Japan or Italy, and the designer damn sure better be at my house, measuring my figure and sewing my pair on a solid gold sewing machine! MY tried and true jeans? The Gap's "Curvy" or "Long and Lean", and Victoria's Secret's "Hipster" or "Boyfriend" jeans(the Boyfriend comes in both the boot cut and straight leg styles). All the styles come in longer inseams(34"-36" at the most)I need as I'm 5'10" tall, are fit for a woman's body(actual room in the hips), the rises are not going to show my business to the world, and most importantly, cost $49-$59, unless I catch a sale and they can be as low as $35-$40. I say stop falling for the trap that jeans are only worthy if they are triple digit prices. And before anyone makes the smarmy comment that I must be "too big" therefore just "jealous that I can't fit the other pairs", I'm a size 10-12. For the lady who is the size 14(Barb), I say buy those jeans now and wear them proudly! You didn't mention your figure or height, but I think you should hit the Victoria's Secret website and look at the Boyfriend style. The waistband is true to waist(or maybe a big lower), the bootcut isn't too wide, and the straight leg isn't tapered. If you like a slightly lower rise, try the Hipster, which is a slightly lower waist. For a bit more money($88), they have the Hipster style with either the tummy control or the booty uplift features. Both styles start at 29" inseam and go up to 34". Also the Gap has lots of styles to choose from. I suggest a uniform wash without a lot of whiskering or a darker color, as they can go from casual to formal a lot easier and can withstand the trends too. May even have to buy them a size larger and have them taken in or fit to you by a tailor/seamstress. Good luck!

74. Good Lord people! Just give me a pair of Levis any day any time! I think some of the "high fashion" jeans look terrible anyway...and their prices are ridiculous! There a pair of jeans for God's sake!

75. Levis. If you think you need "Designer Jeans", then you are stupid. What the fuck are "Designer Jeans" anyway? Oh yea, something for stupid people with to much money to spend it on. What a bunch of sheep!!!

76. When I was heavier, I could never find a decent pair of jeans to fit me right and look good, then I lost 90 pounds (I was deathly sick)from Spring til' Fall. After the Doctors fixed me up, I had to go shopping for new clothes....I was a mess...lol....I didn't know what size I wore or what might look AND feel good on me!
I finally found them....White Stag Leggings...they're inexpensive and feel wonderful!!
By the way, I went from a size 24 to a 12-14!

77. My FAVORITE place to find great fitting jeans is GratefulJeans.com! Prewashed jeans always fit better and you can find your old favorites that are no longer produced! Excellent service there too!
