Once a month my friends and I get together for game night. Sounds kind of corny, but it's actually tons of fun. With so many board games to choose from these days, the fun is endless.Last weekend we played a game called Quelf, which was actually hilarious. It's a game where you use your creativity, answer funny questions and perform ridiculous stunts. For example, one of our friends had her face wrapped in toilet paper and had to keep it on until someone rolled a six.
Wondering what board game to try out next month, I decided to see what the top searched board games are on AOL Search. To my surprise, many of the board games on the list were games I played as a child. I remember sleeping over my grandmother's house and playing Uno, Trouble and checkers. Those games were so much fun and, as you can see from our most searched list, these games are still very popular.
Other games such as Dirty Minds and Battle of the Sexes that showed up lower on the list are obviously skewed more toward the adult crowed. There are also some games that I've never heard of like Cluzzle, Blurt, and Gazootch. Have you ever played these?

43. I found a great card game when i was in New York called LIARLIAR.The game was played witha single card that contained a 10 digit random number and you played a poker hand from that.the fun was you used the numbers on all other players cards.Bluffing was a hug part of the game as long as you didn't get caught lying.it could be played with adults as well as young teens.college kids loved it.

44. I have to admit, I'm a big Risk fan. Even though playing out a whole game can take as long (or longer) than a game of Monopoly. I recently came into possession of the 40th Anniversary Collector's Edition, and I've been playing with it every chance I get.
My other passion is bingo, and though I own a metal cage with all wooden balls, it's harder to find bingo addicts to play with.

46. I enjoyed reading all the comments brings back memories . I personally went on a mission last summer while garage sailing to find board games for our family and to fill my daughters closet with them LOL! We have had a BLAST with so many of them but one of my favorites that sticks out is a game called mad gab. Its not an old classic that I know of but it sure is a lot of fun so just for fun I want to give you an example of how the game works. THe game tells you its not what you read its what you hear so you read and read and read again what a card says until it makes sense. here is an example "IF Reap Potty Loafs Ray Mound" good luck. And a little note to share on a classic for this Easter I had an egg hunt for my kids and the winner recieved a prize. I bought the game Ker-plunk for the prize and my kids are ages 15 and 21 needles to say we had so much fun with the game its a classic for all ages.
answer to mad gab............"Everybody Loves Raymond"

49. Strictly speaking, UNO isn't a board game; it's a card game. My favorite game of all time was Waterworks, another card game. You started with a faucet & a spigot, and had to build a pipeline from one to the other by drawing cards, and placing leaky pipe cards on other player's projects. It was hysterical! Haven't seen it in years.

54. I just think its great in this day and age when everything is on or about computers and video games that folks of any age can still have the most fun with board games, and the old favorites are still really popular. Does anyone remember a game called Punchline?

55. I sell many vintage games on the Internet, you know, that popular auction site. I see so many oddballs that I have never heard of. (Yes, I am a product of the fifties, so I have seen a few in my lifetime.) Many of them sound like fun to play, but you only have so many hours in a day! One of my favorite old timers is called 7 Spot Yott. Similar to Yathzee, but with a big twist! Dice actually have sevens on them. I love anything with dice!
