I was driving down the highway the other day when I heard a blast from the past. It was Twisted Sister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It.' Do you remember them?I loved the '80s! Mohawk haircuts, big hair, fingerless lace gloves, leg warmers, Rubik's Cube, Shrinky Dinks, Smurfs ... the list could go on forever.
I wondered if people were as nostalgic about the '80s as I am. I decided to find out what the most popular '80s big-hair bands were on AOL Search. To my surprise, I found out many people are still curious about the '80s big-hair bands.
KISS , who formed in the '70s, were classically known for their crazy face painting but decided in the '80s to add some Aqua-net. Other bands such as Cinderella, Whitesnake and we can't forget Poison competed with them for the highest teased hair dos.
Speaking of Poison, lead singer Bret Michaels now has his own reality show called 'Rock of Love', where 25 women compete to win a date with him. The hit show just ended season two and fans are wondering ... will there be a season three? Other '80s bands such as Aerosmith and Motley Crue have toned down their hair and are still performing concerts for all their fans. Guns N' Roses is seemingly more famous these days for the album they won't release.
Do you have a favorite '80s big-hair band that did not show up on the list? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for '80s big-hair bands on AOL Search or check out AOL Music for more 80s Bands. Also check out Spinner.com for band breakups or worst band photos.

381. Twisted Sister and no Bon Jovi. Give me a break! They were okay, but how the h_ _ _ were they above 8, 9, and 10??? The 60's, 70's, 80's, and early 90's were the best for creative, and rythmical mood music. Today's music is SO disappointing. I haven't watched a music award show all the way through in several years now. And when I read most of who has won awards, it is a joke! Yeah, Yeah, Yo, Yo. What is that!!! It took a lot of brain power to write those lyrics! And to sing them is worse. Kanye! No matter your age, listen to older music, learn what rocks. And remember, at least disco and rock could really be danced to. Unlike most of today's music. Later!

382. I wouldn't want to relive the 80's but there was some great music. Not just "hair metal." Thanks #367 for mentioning Tears for Fears. "Shout!" My local station plays Backtrax USA from 8-10 pm on Sunday nights. KCDZFM.com. Check it out!!

LOL I pretty much skipped the 80s Except for Iron Maiden & a little REM! What about them Fat Boys Doing Beach Boys Covers?! Pretty hot! I guess something good did come from the 80s. But you need to know where to look. Long live Dread Zeppelin! Check em out at http://Dreadzeppelin.com Now That's Entertaiment! LMFAO!!!
