I'm so excited that the warmer weather is finally heading our way. Summer time is always fun for grilling out, relaxing at the pool and of course going to concerts. I'm tying to figure out what concerts I would like to attend this summer. I decided to find out what the top searched concert tickets are on AOL Search. I wasn't surprised that Jimmy Buffett and the Eagles showed up at the top of the list. Tailgating at a Jimmy Buffett concert can sometimes be more crazy than the actual concert.
I actually attended a Bon Jovi concert and an Elton John concert, but that was about 10 years ago. We had great seats for both concerts and payed only a fraction of the cost that nose bleed tickets for these concerts would be today. From Alicia Keys to Jonas Brothers people are willing to pay over $1,500 per ticket for front row seats. That to me is absolutely insane, especially for a tween band.

22. I heard these boys on Tv and they CAN"T sing! It's like that country singer Taylor Swift. She has a HORRIBLE voice! I can understand paying good money (not that much) to see someone who has talent. But these people have NO talent....NONE!!!!!!!

26. The Jonas Brothers are the best, but i have to clear some things up :]
1 - they're not tweens, the youngest one is 15.
2 - they're not a teeny bopper boy band, they just happen to be boys and every girl loves them but they're better than that and they deserve more credit than that.
3 - their tickets are not that expensive.
4 - honestly, who cares if their prices are high anyway, we shouldnt blame them, its not like they make the prices.
5 - if they really wanted to steal everyones money, they'd wouldnt give away tickets anywhere they can.
6 - also, they're christian and very religious which is good and instead of putting them down, you should pay attention to that because it shows that all teens who like them are not going to be taking off their shirts...etc but they will be listening to positive music, and being encouraged to be religious, because of how good life could be when you are.

27. i have already been to one jonas brothers concert and i am going to their new tour in 69 days. The reason kids are paying so much for their tickets is because they are an amazing band live and they are great people besides that. The Jonas Brothers are a great band, and tons of kids adore them.

33. I just looked up a July concert for Jimmy Buffett. To get a decent seat, not on the grass, and pay parking, for two, would be over 500 dollars. I will just put on my A1A album and hang on to my money.

35. Rich... I am not a rich Republican / conserative. The richest are Dem's Soros, Gates, Hathaway, and all the stinking rich Hollywood crowd. When is the last time they gave you a dime! Hell they even need gifts to show up at events! Traditionally the Repub's give more to US charities while people like Gates gives to Africa where the money ends up on everyones pocket but the needy. Give to the Salvation Army where 95% of the money donated ends up in the hands of the needy.

36. Christian bands arent always peachy keen, Demon hunter is a heavy metal band and they are christian. I was at bamboozle and durring mxpx girls were flashing the stage and mxpx is a christian punk band. And you even have underoath. The bands can be playinf christian tunes, this doesnt mean the audience is going to act like christians.

37. Yeah it's not anymore these artists fault for high ticket prices, than it is the oil companies fault for high gas prices!! If your a liberal you can make all the money you want in the name of global warming, arts and entertainment, or any new and wonderful idea that doesn't harm anyone. Just don't be the auto industry, an oil company, lumber company, or any of those bad companies that built this nation and provided millions of people with an income. Shame, shame on you!!

It's not the Jonas Brothers charging these outrageous prices, it's the scalpers or so called ticket agencies that have a blocking device so when the tickets go on sale to the public, you can't get through on ticketmaster unless you have this program. I had to pay over $1500 for 2 tickets for my daughter to go to wango tango from a ticket agency, then only to find out those tickets were comped by live nation(pit seats) so they are all in on scamming the public. It's not fair!
