When I think of video games, I flash back to my childhood days and remember playing games like 'Centipede' and 'Asteroids' on my Atari. Then Nintendo came out and everyone was excited to play games like 'Donkey Kong' and 'Super Mario Brothers'. Today, video games such as 'Wii Fit' and 'Halo' have taken the entertainment experience to another level.Video games have become so popular that people actually stand in line in front of stores overnight to get the latest releases. For example, look at the sales of 'Grand Theft Auto 4'. On its first day on the shelves, 3.6 million copies were purchased, a retail value of $310 million -- that is unbelievable.
I decided to find out what other video games are popular among our AOL Search users. I wasn't surprised to see 'Super Mario Brothers' on the list. It is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 40 million copies sold to date.

1. I love Wii-Fit. The balance board is great and I use it to practive yoga and am learning golf. It is great exercise and I will not mind have my kids playing with this. It is better to go outside and get a work out but on a rainy day I would prefer my kids to play with this than Grand Theft Auto.
As a mother of 3 I try t get a work out in whenever I can. Going to the gym every day is not an option for me.

3. I've got 9 out of 10 of these games and my favorite, that practically enslaved a generation was Zelda, that somehow didn’t make the list. That and the original Mario Kart took at least a year of my teens.

8. Hey Pamela, I got smartsoles also and love them. I am on my feet all day and they are comfortable. My husband wishes they made them for men! I was thinking of getting the Wii as I heard the tennis program is great.

9. My husband and I LOVE Mariokart! We ordered Wii Fit and can not wait to try it out! One of the best things about the Wii games is that so many of them, your character does not die...you just get a new guy...great for kids!

10. I know that my favorite game of all time will never appear on this list, for there were so few copies ever made/sold: Gemfire for the SNES. Through only 6 weeks of gameplay, it taught me to respect my people and my adversaries, to be charitable and to always go after what YOU really want. Other than that, Wild Arms 3 was pretty good and Rock Band is all kinds of awesome.
