1. Hi Plus-Size Ladies...I am no more...BUT the absolute BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD FOR CLOTHES YOU'D LOVE IS 'THE FORGOTTEN WOMAN' in NYC and Beverly Hills, CA (maybe H'wood...I am no longer sure --- Fill up your pocket with greenbacks first, but you will find the ab-so-lute best there (I used to ruthlessly shop their marked-down racks, with great success)!

2. You forgot Coldwater Creek. They are not cheap but if you look out the outlet clothes or wait for their sales you can pick up some items at a really good price.

3. I didn't see Fashion Bug. It's a great store for the small to voluputious sizes. Styles range from the young to conservative. They also have some fabulous sales for the money conscious.

4. I buy almost all of my clothes at Talbot's because they are one of the very few places that have plus sized petites. Shorter women gain weight as they age, too! Talbot's phone service is absolutely great. They will run to the show room to see if they can find something in just the style or color you are seeking, even if you couldn't find it in the catalog or on line. The only complaint I have is they don't include enough dresses, skirts, lounge wear, or holiday wear in their woman petite sizes. They are a bit pricey, but separates all coordinate, often for several years, and they also have shoes and purses to go with the clothes.

5. While some plus size clothes are cheap and tacky I think of it as cost per wearing. I have Several Ralph Lauren and INC. pieces from Macy's that have lasted years as well as Jones of New York. For quailties T's I go to Target (5-8 bucks, yahoo!). For quality in catalogue I use JJill and Cold wated Creek both of which have amazing online sales. If you do not like bold stripes and tiny straps tell the sales rep. At Macy's they pass your comments one. Don't buy what you do not want maybe they'll stop carrying it.
Whenb shopping I alwats check the fabric content and skip those that are not natural fibres or high in blends. It may be less expensive but cheap does not hold up in the wash!
