I came home the other day and my feet were throbbing with pain. I'm sure it's because of the new dress shoes I wore, which weren't very comfortable, but they looked so cute with my jeans that I couldn't refuse. Two days later I still had blisters. It was then I realized that I needed to get myself some cute, comfortable, soft walk shoes, so I decided to see which brands people were seeking out on AOL Search.Of course, those infamous Crocs are near the top of the list. Crocs are definitely easy on your feet, but I don't really think they win the "cute" award. Sandals -- like Birkenstock or Naturalizer sandals -- can be really comfy and stylish, but they aren't practical for getting through the snow and ice.
I've never tried Dansko,

1. I love being comfortable, but do not want to forgo style (hey I'm young and single!) for comfort. When I am runnning errands or going to the gym or walking to work I wear my sneakers with smartsole insoles http://www.smartsole.com These are anti-cellulite insoles with stimulate your circulation and cause you to burn more calories with every step. And they are very comfortable. I found a coupon code SMART15 which gives you 15% off. They feel like earth shoes and do the same thing as MBT trainers
When I go out...there is nothing sexier than a pair of Betsy Johnson shoes. I buy mine always at http://www.heels.com as they offer the cheapest prices and free shipping. I love them as they are fairly comfortable, bright colors and high heels!

7. I wear a shoe called Rocker(white)nurses' shoe which makes me walk slower and helps me keep my balance. Also have been wearing Easy Spirit every day and dress shoes for many years as I can wear my othotics in them. I have worn the Birken(sp.?)but only the closed toe ones which do not suit the shape of my feet.

8. I'VE SUFFERED WITH FOOT PROBLEMS FOR 20 PLUS YEARS AND TO FIND A COMFORTABLE SHOES OVER THE YEARS HAVE BEEN A TRICK OR TWO! I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO RECOMMEND A BRAND I FOUND AT WALMART CALLED "EARTH SPIRIT." THEY "WOW" MY FEET! THOUGH MOST OF THEIR SHOES ARE MORE CASUAL, THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICE AND THE COMFORT LEVEL IS: "PRICELESS!!!!!!!"

9. I can't believe no one has mentioned Clarks. A little pricey but you can't beat them for comfort.

10. For comfort New Balance sneakers are the absolute best. For everyday and dress shoes, I buy Sofft, Easy Spirit, or SoftSpots. All are kind and gentle on my feet.

11. The most comfortable casual or work shoes are Merrell Encore Moc's. I've had feet problems and surgeries also arthritus. My orthopedic surgeon and his nurses wear them. I also wear Clarks and Born. They all are a little pricey, but it is well worth the comfort. I usually buy them on sale.

12. I am a wide woman with wide feet. I can't fit into most regular women's shoes and I can't even find a Croc that fits (How do you move in those plastic clogs comfortably?)
So, what can I do about my aching legs and feet?

13. Where is it written that women with long feet must wear medium to wide shoes especially with comfortable cute shoes?????

14. Merrell clogs come in all kinds of contemporary styles. Many of their women's styles also feature extra support in the sole, tagged specifically, Q angle - that helps keep a woman's knees in alignment. Clarks "Prive" division are often more dressy, (even heels) and less clunky in appearance, while offering same comfort as original designs. Born, too, has extra cushioning where ever possible. I haven't tried Dansko yet, but they are supposed to be comfortable too.

17. This list should definitely include Merrell shoes. As for walking shoes, I tried Ryka once and have never gone back to anything else. Teva makes an excellent sandal which is easy to adjust to different parts of your foot. The Earth shoe was popular back in the late 60's and early 70's. Some of these are pricey, but you can find lots of clearance and/or closeouts at a site called sierratradingpost.com.

19. I have to agree with Janice, how can you compile such a list and not include the Clark Brand? Clarks and the wallabee have to be one of the most comfortable shoes on this planet and they look good too! Personally, I get moved when I see women wearing these comfortable shoes.
