I had never been much of a coffee drinker until my trip to Hawaii last year. While I was there I discovered the delicious and rich flavors of Kona coffee, only available from the Hawaiian Islands. Since then, just the smell of fresh coffee beans or coffee brew makes my mouth water.Coffee drinkers are a dedicated bunch. They set their automatic Cuisinart coffee maker to brew their morning coffee the same way they set their alarm to wake them up in the morning. Or they stop at their favorite coffee franchise, like Starbucks, every morning on their way to work.
I don't need too much caffeine in the morning, so I like to stick with my one cup coffee maker. Though I like my Keurig coffee maker, I thought it would be nice to try some other types of coffee. I decided to get some suggestions by looking at what kinds of coffee people are searching for on AOL Search.
For a special treat, I am excited to try some of the gourmet coffee that showed up on the top searched list. Number seven, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, has regional exclusivity like Kona coffee and a deliciously unique flavor. Gevalia Coffee carries a wide variety of gourmet flavors and roasts, including seasonal flavors. I was also interested in getting some green coffee beans and roasting my own coffee. What could be fresher?
If I need a cup of joe on the go, drive thru coffee, like Dunkin Donuts, is the fastest and I can get some breakfast. Green Mountain Coffee, number one on the list, is also great with food and is served at a lot of restaurants because they sell wholesale coffees.
There are so many choices. What is your favorite type of coffee? Leave a comment and let us know! Find out about more types of coffee on AOL Search and locate a coffee shop near you with AOL Yellow Pages.

Forget about the high cost of Starbucks... I think it tastes burnt. I love my Dunkin Donuts coffee with a splash of milk and 2 splenda. I have the same breakfast every day. I recently lost 30 pounds following the weight watchers program http://www.weightwatchers.com and I now just am more watchful every day of what I eat. I have a banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous. My trainer recommended fitflax to me and it definitely helped the last 10 pounds to melt off. It is a flax and chia blend and was written about in O mag. They also listed a code to get 15% off. The site is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 15% off is FIT15

I love fitflax. I lost 15 pounds by just sprinkling it on my salad or yogurt every day. It tastes nutty like peanut butter. I also am a fan of Starbucks light frappucino

I've found a roaster out of St. Augustine, Florida called Mystic Bean Coffee Company. They roast a blend called Carol's Cup that's amazing.

I absolutely love DUNKIN DONUTS coffee. No one beats them in my estimation. They do have great muffins and donuts but I can not live without DD coffee. If you have not tried it, run quickly to your nearest DD shop..you will not be disappointed. I like mine with cream and 2 splendas for the large. They also have flavorings that are not in syrup so you do not get the added sugar. Toasted almond, coconut, french vanilla and caramel are my favorites.

My name is Jennifer, and I am a coffee addict... Seriously - I drink between 20 and 30 cups of the liquid nectar a day! I know, I know... It's not good for me, so don't even SAY IT! I LOVE my Cuisanart Grind and Brew - it makes the best freakin' cup of coffee I ever had! And for beans, good old 8 o'clock (from A&P). I mix french roast (for the richness) and regular decaf (since I drink so much) and it is absolutely delicious. It's the only coffee I can actually drink BLACK!

I am a big fan of 7-11 and Dunkin' Donuts coffees.
Starbucks tastes bitter and the cost is simply ridiculous. Also, race-trac gas stations have a
great coffee reasonably priced. I'm for great taste,
no reason to buy Starbucks. Why? Perhaps for the prestige; they certainly have a great marketing program, but not great coffee. I am a food writer and
have tasted most; that's my two cents!

Went to Costa Rica last summer and they have the best coffee ever made. It is the best coffee I have ever had. It is called Cafe Britt. Even the decaf tastes really good. We even bought a case before we left to go home. You can order it also on www.cafebritt.com. Try it!

I have always hated Starbucks! Its so strong and bitter. Unless your drinking those fat and calorie filled speciality drinks(which by the way I don't consider "coffee")their regular coffee remindes me of
sludge! Give me Dunkin Doughnuts anytime! Now with there new healthy menu-a great choice!

Green Mtn Coffee isn't bad, not the best. It's how it's made. Is Starbucks brewing your Green Mtn for you??

We have restricted ourselves to one large cup each morning, after decades of serious coffee drinking.
But that one IS COFFEE!!
We use quality roasted beans, changing for variety, purchased in small quantities and stored frozen in the bean. Medium to coarse grind a quarter cup of beans into a big stainless steel French Press, add a half teaspoon of vanilla. Fill with hot water heated just short of boiling.
Stir with a long fork in the French Press, cover and steep for TWO minutes -- PRESS -- let set with solids settling for a minute.
Then filter through a cone paper filter directly into the cups.
I take unsweetened, my partner uses Equal or Splenda.
Buying 1/4 to 1/3 lb. quantities of really good freshly roasted beans we like at gourmet coffee bars, is important.
We have two roasters where we know their roasting schedule and are able to buy still warm beans.
People who ordinarily need sweetener use less than half as much with fresh roasted beans, or no sweetener.
We sometimes grind a small square of frozen extra dark chocolate or another light flavor.
But fresh roasted beans are the critical element.
Plus, with one cup of really great coffee in the morning, we don't want or need three to ten cups.

Gevalia - very good. Starbucks - nasty. I have never tried Green Mountain, but will have to do so.
The best "every day" coffee I have ever had is Silverhook, an Alaskan coffee. The best "special time" coffee is Raven's Brew, also from Alaska. Even if you don't buy their coffee, at least visit their website and check out the awesome artwork and unique names for each blend.

Do You Folks Like Coffee? Asks Nathan Explosion of Dethklok in the Duncan Hills coffee jingle on Metalocalypse. As a former member of a Coffee Punk band I can tell you we didn't always *read nearly never) have the money for Jamaican Blue Mountain. So we drank The Red Lighting! Guatemalan Antigua! Unlike The Blue, which is mostly bought up by the Japanese every year, The Red is readily available in whole bean wherever Starbucks is sold. And at about one third the price. So you can use it as an everyday brew.
