The poor shape of the economy has many people depressed. Retired people are seeing their lifestyle dramtically changed as they see their stock portfolios shrink. Young working people are working hard and putting money into 401Ks that just go down in value. I know I needed to buy a car and was looking at higher prices than I could afford to pay and then someone told me about this secret method for saving over 30% on the purchase of a new car. It enabled me to buy a nicer car than the one I was planning on buying and still save thousands of dollars. http://tinyurl.com/AutoDiscounts

I definitely have seasonal affect disorder. When the weather gets colder, the days get shorter and it gets darker quicker, I get depressed. I love the warm weather where I can walk outside non bundled up and enjoy a frozen yogurt and window shop!
I used to have a drink when I got home to perk myself up. The one drink then led to two and then to more and then I would get more depressed..and have a hangover. I also would eat too much which that made me miserable!
What has helped me with depression has been getting on a regular schedule, not watching tv in bed, getting my weight stable and by going to a weight loss support group. I feel better when I am not the only one with "issues".
I strive to eat healthy and lead by example for my daughters. I eat flax every morning for health and weight loss reasons. I have the same breakfast now every day. I recently lost 30 pounds following the
weight watchers program http://www.weightwatchers.com and I now just
am more watchful every day of what I eat. I have a banana low fat yogurt with golden roasted flax for breakfast every day. It is filling, keeps me regular and tastes fabulous (kinda like sesame seeds). My Weight Watchers leader recommended fitflax to me and it definitely helped the last 10 pounds to melt off. It is low carb and low cal. It is a flax and chia blend and I think I read about it in O mag. They also listed a code to get 15% off. The site is http://www.fitflax.com and the code for 15% off is

The only time in my life that I was depressed was after the birth of my second child. I was 31, and I started to notice that my hair was thinning out and eventually I even had some bald spots. For a woman who was always on the vain side this was devastating. I had trouble sleeping and eating. One day a woman stopped in a store and told me that she knew what I was going through and that she had the same problem but had found relief with something called Provillus. http://tinyurl.com/WomensHairRegrowth4u It contains a special supplement that helped control the hormones that can do damage to the hair and the only ingredient approved by the FDA to regrow hair. I can't tell you how Provillus turned my life around. I once again have a full head of hair and have no problem with normal eating and sleeping patterns. http://tinyurl.com/WomensHairRegrowth4u

Tanning results in the formation of beta endorphins which go to our brain and makes you feel alive again. Sunshine can do the same. A great way to fight depression or downer days.

You folks have a habit of posting an intriguing headline (hook), such as: "#1 pill to nix depression" on the open page, then burying the answer or object of the hook hopelessly in dreck.
Why?

After the birth of my twins, I did not cry or refused to when I returned back to work. Months later, I felt anxious when I knew I would be leaving work to go home and depressed when I would wake up and had to go to work. I was dealing with the guilt of leaving my children with a nanny and the stress of a demanding job (Quality Process Engineer). My OB prescribed a anti depressant and I talked to my Boss (female) about coping with work and life. My hubby really kicked in to help me and has not let up since. I could not have come out of it had it not been for the support of my husband and boss.
