If you suffer from allergies, we have some remedies for you.I thought it would be helpful to find out what our top searched allergy remedies were on AOL Search. Common OTC and prescription allergy medicines such as Zyrtec, Claritin and Sudafed can help treat most of your allergy symptoms. If these medications don't help your symptoms or medications are not your type, there are some other alternatives.
Natural allergy treatments such as the neti pot, quercetin and stinging nettle can be as effective as prescription allergy pills without the medication. Neti pot, also know as the nose bidet, flushes out all the debris clogging your sinuses and helps alleviate pain. Quercetin is a natural plant-derived compound (called a bioflavonoid) that helps suppress histamine production in your body. Stinging nettle is a weed, sold in capsules, that inhibits the body's ability to produce histamine.

I developed allergies when I was living in Hawaii 30 years ago. Now I am 48 but unbelievably still have three young daughters. I recently had a violent allergic reaction to something I read about on one of these Hot Searches. I tried Fitflax and thought I was going to die. I went into an anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital. I hadn't had a reaction like that since the time I wore Smartsoles for the first and only time. I think they were made out of substandard materials, and probably made by Chinese prison labor. Other than that, despite heavily promoting Weight watchers, I'm way overweight.

Hi Liz, I am sorry you don't like either SmartSole or FitFlax. I think it is great and work with the company. I am also a big fan of Zylene and would love to talk to you about it.

I was gaining weight and I had no energy because of an exercise-induced food allergy. Nothing I did was working for me. Then a good friend of mine sent me a link http://snipurl.com/WuYiWeightLossTea for me to try a sample of a fat burning energy drink. It was amazing because it suppressed my appetite, gave more energy, burned fat, and boosted my metabolism. It is so easy to take and this WuYi tea tastes great too.

The thing that I found most unattractive about my face as I got older were the dark circles under my eyes. I tried everything I could to get rid of them but nothing ever worked. I got tired of seeing all the scam ads on TV for skin care products that don't work so I started dong some research about my problem on the internet and I discovered that dark circles around and underneath eye area is not usually caused by a lack of sleep, instead the membrane in that area (a vascular rich zone) of skin is readily susceptible to discoloration (usually dark or pink). I found a great product ( http://tinyurl.com/NoMoreDarkCircles ) that contains Haloxyl which is a new ingredient combination that has shown great promise and results in lowering the darkness of color in the under eye area. This cream is natural based so no pore clogging ingredients like mineral oil will make the problem worse. The ingredients in this natural based skin care cream are all about stimulating the pooling blood in the area under and around the eyes. This is one of the main causes of dark circles.
The very thin and fine layers of skin are pumped full of skin thickening ingredients to help maximize the cell wall to decode the see through color for the skin in that area. It also helps to firm the skin around the eyes and reduce puffiness. Extremely good for a great all around look.

One of the reported side effects (there are only good side effects with this cream) is that puffiness and bags under the eyes are reduced in appearance drastically making this one of the best all around eyes cream in general not to mention for the afore mentioned problems.
As mentioned above the causes can vary a little but for most the same three causes of both under eye puffiness, bags under the eyes and of course dark circles are lack of blood flow, pooling blood, thinning or thin skin and leaking of blood in the very veinous tissue. All of these can be helped tremendously with the absolute best under eye treatment that includes peptides, skin thickeners and much more all in a natural base.

I work in the pharmaceutical industry- I have tried a lot of drug therapies without any lasting success. This supplement combination is working for me. I started taking it & it's been helping a lot. I could barely get to the health supermarket for my first bottle, but after about 2 days I was in good enough shape to go jogging. This is something I've been struggling with since I was a kid (I'm now 30).

I suffered from extremely painful allergy-sinus headaches for 2 to 3 months each year. I tried all over the counter remedies with no relief. My doctor perscribed anti-biotics and steriods and still I had no relief. Ten months ago a neighbor told me that he drank 4 ounces of aloe vera juice twice a day and it relieved his allergys. At that point I was desperate so after reading all I could find on the net, I tried the aloe. This completely took away all symptoms. I don't know if it will work for everyone but it totally changed my life.

I'm confused...Are we discussing the blog that appears to be on "Allergies"?
In the first twelve (12) posts I read:
1 - asthma
1 - acne
6 - weight loss
1 - wrinkles
1 - sex
1 - dark circles around eyes
and finally, 1 - really good post from Monica on "Allergies". Thanks Monica for sticking to the program...

I have suffered allergies all my life. Hayfever, cat dander, dust, mold, celery, glutens, etc...I changed the type of Doctor I see about 4 years ago. This new Doctor told me to take 600mg of Quercetin along with 250mg Milk Thistle Seed Extract for my allergies. This works soo great for me. It seems to work on ALL my different allergies too. If you are not allergic to either of these two, give it a try. I don't need to use anything else for my allergies now.

How did this allergy article go to advertisements about weight and wrinkles. Is everyone selling something?

Another great trick especially for pollen allergys is to find a place that sell locally produced HONEY. It must be LOCAL! Start with a very small amount like an 1/4 of a teaspoon every day, say on toast in the morning. Increase the amount each week by a 1/4 teaspoon until you are at a full teaspoon every day. What happens is the honey is made by bees from local plant pollens so by consuming it you will build up a natural resistance immunity to it! It can dramatically cut down on sneezing, watery eyes..etc
It safe and natural! Besides that the honey is good for you and taste good! IT WORKS ! TRY IT!

I have had allergies all of my life; Florida was too humid, New Mexico too dry and Atlanta is tooooo green. I keep household dust to a minimum, and I swear by Alavert-D...it is an over the counter remedy by the same guys as Clartin but however it is formulated, it gives NO panhead hangover and stops the wheezing, itchy eyes and that "can't catch my breath" feeling...
