Searching For Love?

One of my good friends has met all of her boyfriends from online dating services. While some of the online relationships work out and some don't last more than a few weeks, she is obsessed with online dating. It gives her the opportunity to know a little bit more about someone before she goes on a date with them. Another plus is the ability to set preferences on what type of person you are looking for.

She has been using eHarmony to meet new men for about two years now. When I had dinner with her last night she mentioned how she was considering making profiles on some different dating sites just incase her Mr. Right is a subscriber to one of the many other online dating websites that exist today.

While I have never used online dating myself, I have seen it lead to wonderful relationships for many of my friends. There are dating websites out there for almost anyone looking for love. There are online dating sites specifically made for interracial and minority dating such as black singles, jewish singles, christian singles, singles over 50, gay and lesbian singles, and any other single men or single women searching for that perfect someone.

While there are many free online dating services, other websites will charge you a monthly fee to be a member. Some of the free dating service sites include PlentyOfFish, Chemistry, DateHookUp, SearchYourLove, and OK Cupid. Other popular dating sites include Match, eHarmony, LavaLife, and Yahoo! Personals.

Are you looking for love? Check out AOL Personals or search for online dating services on AOL Search. Do you know of any good online dating services not mentioned on our list? If so, please tell us about them.

How Do You Get Your Daily Vitamins?

I have about a week's worth of multivitamins left before running out and needing to purchase a new bottle. I've been using the same multivitamin for about five years now and I'm thinking it might be time to change. There is nothing wrong with what I have been using, but I would like to see what else is out there before buying another bottle of 500 pills.

Last night when I was at the grocery store, I walked down the vitamin isle and was overwhelmed with how many brands and types of multivitamins there are to choose from. Brands like Centrum and One A Day have several different types of multivitamins. There are some multivitamins that assist with weight loss, energy, pregnancy, aging, and so forth. I just need a vitamin that gives me all the nutrients that my regular diet might be missing, keeps my immune system in good shape, and makes me feel healthy, energized, and active. I couldn't make up my mind so I went home without any new vitamins and decided to do some research on all the different types of multivitamins before making a purchase.

Even after some online research it is hard to tell which multivitamin is right for me, so I decided to look into which multivitamins our users take. Centrum and One A Day topped the list, but some less heard of brands didn't come far behind. Other popular multivitamins include Source Naturals Life Force, Solaray Spectro, and Nature's Way Multivitamin.

Searching for a Place to Stay?

With just enough time left of this summer to plan one more beach weekend get-away, I'm asking myself where can I go for an enjoyable weekend away from home for a decent price? Aside from the gas it will take to get there, the biggest expense is the hotel.

With hotels, it's obvious that you get what you pay for. I've found that the less I pay for my room, the less relaxing and stress-free the weekend becomes. But on the other hand, the more I pay for my room, the more stress my bank account feels.

My priorities when it comes to hotel rooms are cleanliness and location. I won't sleep on dirty sheets and I definitely won't walk more than a block to get to the beach.

Most hotels look pretty good from the website, but it's past guests that can tell you whether it's really worth your stay. To help me decide where to reserve a room for my weekend at the beach, I checked out what hotels our users are searching for. There was a huge variety in the results. Marriott topped the list with Holiday Inn right behind it. Other top searched hotel chains included Hilton, Best Western and Motel 6.

Do you know of any other hotel chains that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for hotels on AOL Search or check out AOL Yellow Pages to find a hotel in your desired area.

What Is Your Dog Eating?

Up until a few months ago, I always fed my dog regular dog food that I bought in the pet aisle of the grocery store and sprinkled a little cheese or chicken broth on top. But, the last time I took her to the veterinarian for her yearly checkup I heard the dreaded news that she's having liver problems that could be due to the added "human food" to her diet.

She won't eat the old dog food on its own so now I'm stuck looking for healthy but tasty dog food for my poor pooch. She is very picky about her food and I'm worried that I'm about to head into a month or two where all I'll do is try different brands until I find one she likes. Like most of us, I live on a budget and I can't afford to spend too much on food for my dog, so I need to find a reasonably priced dog food brand that will provide her with the daily nutrition she needs.

Not sure where to start on my quest, I decided to look into what the top searched dog food brands are among our users. Many holistic and natural dog foods topped the list including Wellness, Evolve and Pinnacle. Other popular natural dog foods include Eukanuba, Innova and the BARF diet. The BARF diet stands for "biologically appropriate raw food." The living enzymes in this dog food are believed to be the secret to a healthy dog. The BARF diet is a sort of doggy lifestyle, not just a food, so owners must mix up a dish at meal time for their pooch along with the rest of their family.

Do you know of any other dog food brands that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for dog food on AOL Search or purchase some dog food through AOL Shopping.

How to Survive College Expen$es

College is a huge investment, but getting a college education can lead to more job opportunities and higher pay, and can open doors to things you might have never imagined.

One of the main reasons students decide against going to college is the cost. Tuition, housing and books alone rack up quite a bill, but before you cross higher education off your to-do list, take a look at some of the popular ways our users are searching to pay for college.

Whether the expense of college is far in your future, or coming around the bend, there are financial options for everyone. As you can see from the list below, there are financial options for everyone. The most commonly searched way to secure funds for college is by submitting a FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid). This must be filled out to receive any type of Federal Student Loan, such as the Federal Stafford Loan, the Federal PLUS Loan and the Federal Perkins Loan. If you end up needing more money than your federal loans provide, you can then turn to private student loans. You can get these loans from your school or from private financial institutions such as Sallie Mae or MyRichUncle.

In addition to loans and grants, there are other things students can do to raise money for college (or save on expenses). Students can take CLEP exams to get credit for classes without taking the courses, saving money and time. There are also opportunities like joining an ROTC program, taking part in a work-study program or participating in Learn & Serve America.

Do you know of any other options that did not show up on our list? If so, tell us about them. For more information on paying for college, go to AOL Money and Finance. Also search for paying for college on AOL Search.

What Do You Do to Stay Beautiful?

A girlfriend of mine has been getting VelaSmooth Cellulite Reduction treatments on her thighs and buttocks for about a year now. She has had about 8 sessions so far and is really happy with the results, but she does complain about the pain and every session leaves her bruised for days. I'm amazed that such great results can come from a procedure simple enough to be done at a medical spa.

Her great results have inspired me to look into some medical spa treatments, especially since I am going on a cruise this December and getting rid of a little bit of cellulite wouldn't hurt before I squeeze into my bathingsuit. I would never get plastic surgery, but the options available at medical spas seem like simple ways to stay beautiful as you age. Of course, it is always painful (both to the body and to the bank account) to be beautiful.

I did some research and found that there are several medical spa treatments available. Treatments can reduce cellulite, remove unwanted hair, smooth frown lines and wrinkles, repair sun damaged skin or acne scars, remove spider veins and to reshape droopy eyelids.

The most popular medical spa treatments among our users include laser hair removal, botox injections and microdermabrasion. Other popular treatments include chemical peels, collagen injections and mesotherapy treatment.

Have you ever had a medical spa treatment? Do you know of any good medical spa treatments that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for medical spa treatments on AOL Search or check out AOL Yellow Pages to find the closest medical spa in your area.
