Searching for a Cellulite Treatment?

Cellulite ... it is like a four letter word to most women. If you don't have it, you try to prevent it. If you have it, as most people do, then you want to get rid of it.

With bathing suit season upon us, I though it would be helpful to find out what the top searched cellulite treatments are on AOL Search. Treatments such as liposuction and injections like mesotherapy and lipo dissolve can be very expensive, invasive and painful.

Endermologie is a less invasive treatment, but can still be pricey. During this treatment, rollers massage the deep tissue and use suction to redistribute the skin and remove dimpling.

There are other less expensive treatments that can eliminate those unwanted dimples. Some options include cellulite creams such as Murad and Cellex and dieatary supplements or release capsules such as Crystal Star. There are even cellulite exercises you can try.

Do you know of any good cellulite treatments? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for cellulite treatments on AOL Search or check out AOL Shopping for other cellulite treatments.

Searching for Plus-Size Clothing?

A few months ago, I did a post on plus-size clothing. Many of the comments we received were focused on which clothing brands people prefer.

I decided to find out which plus size clothing brands are most popular among our users. As you can see from the list below Lane Bryant, Avenue and Woman Within make up the top three. Other popular stores are Roamans, Jessica London and Catherines.

Many readers complained that most of these stores can be rather expensive. One tip to save money at these stores is to register for their mailing/e-mail lists. You'll receive announcements of upcoming sales along with coupons that you can use on sale items.

Do you know of any plus-size clothing brands that did not show up on the list? If so, please tell us about them. Check out more from AOL Shopping or search for plus-size clothing brands on AOL Search.

Top Searched Men's Health Topics

Men's Health Week is celebrated each year as the week leading up to and including Father's Day (June 9-15 this year). The purpose of the week is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.

Statistics show that men are more likely to turn to the Internet for information on health topics rather than call a nurse or doctor for advice. Men generally don't like discussing their health issues due to embarrassment.

To help drive awareness of Men's Health Week, I decided to find out what the top searched men's health topics are on AOL Search. As you can see from the list below, prostate cancer, urinary tract infections and insomnia are among the top three. Men are also searching for everything from ulcerative colitis to prostatitis to hair loss. They also want to learn more about vasectomies and indigestion.

Is there a health topic that you go online to learn more about? If you think you are experiencing any of these health issues you should see your doctor, but you can also learn more by searching for men's health on AOL Search or going to AOL Health for information.

Do You Have a Favorite Extreme Sport?

When I think of extreme sports, I think of something that is fun, slightly unsafe and gives you an adrenaline rush. There are two things that I had always wanted to try -- scuba diving and skydiving --and I had the opportunity to give both a shot a few years ago.

While it was an amazing feeling to conquer them both, I have decided I'd like to try something different this summer. I know there are tons of other extreme sports out there, so I set to find out which ones are popular among our users.

Have you ever heard of parkour or zorbing? Parkour is where you move from one point to another as quickly as possible and overcome obstacles. People who participate in this extreme sport like to jump on rooftops from building to building. Zorbing, also know as sphereing, is when a person is put into a huge sphere ball and then rolls down hills or ramps. Looks like fun!

Did your favorite extreme sport show up on our list? If not, please tell us about it or try searching for extreme sports on AOL Search. Or check out AOL Sports for more extreme sports.

Do You Have a Favorite Department Store?

Memorial Day weekend is a fun time for relaxing by the pool, grilling out with your friends and of course shopping. There are lots of sales going on at your local department stores.

This is a great time to get discounts for yourself and also for others. Do you need to purchase any wedding gifts, baby showers gifts or birthday gifts? This is the perfect weekend to whittle down your "to buy" list, while saving some money. And don't forget -- Father's Day is June 15th.

I decided to find out which department stores are popular among our users. The results varied from discount department stores such as Wal-Mart, Target and Kmart to upscale department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. If you are looking for a department store near you, do a quick search on AOL Yellow Pages to find the closest location.

Also while you're out having fun this weekend, please take a moment to reflect on the real reason we have this holiday: the men and women who have given their lives for our freedom.

Looking to Remove Unwanted Hair?

Well, it's that time of year again -- the weather is warm and we start showing more skin. Unfortunately, more bare skin means the need to get rid of unwanted hair.

Every year I try to convince myself to bite the bullet and try electrolysis or laser hair removal. Even though I wouldn't have to waste my time and energy shaving anymore, I remember my girlfriend telling me how painful and expensive those types of treatments are and I let go of the idea.

So I decided to find out what hair removal treatments our users are searching for. Although waxing can be slightly painful, it can be worth it since it keeps unwanted hair away longer than shaving.

Another option is depilatory products, like Sally Hansen , Nair or Veet. These products are creams or liquids that you apply and then wipe away (and your unwanted hair gets wiped away, too). It sounds easy to do, but they sometimes leave your skin irritated with bumps or a rash.

If it's facial hair that you are trying to remove, there are other alternatives to bleaching. There is a prescription cream, Vaniqa, that slows down the growth of the hair rather then bleaching or removing it.

Do you know any hair removal secrets that did not make the list? Try searching for hair removal treatments on AOL Search or check out AOL Shopping for other hair removal treatments.

Top Searched Hair Removal Treatments on AOL Search:

Searching for a Camcorder?

I'm thinking about purchasing a new camcorder so I decided to do some research. I was actually surprised to find out there are so many different types of camcorders available today.

After looking around a bit, here's what I learned: The mini DV is the most popular camcorder among consumers and one of the more affordable options available. Mini DV camcorders use tapes which holds about an hour of footage and can be easy to purchase while you are on vacation. The top three camcorders that appeared on our top searched list -- Canon's HV20, Panasonic's PV-GS320 and Sony DCR-HC 28 -- are all mini DV camcorders.

DVD camcorders allow users to record video directly onto a DVD and then play the footage back in DVD players or on the computer. This camcorder is ideal for people who want to record short family videos that they can play back instantly. Two of the disadvantages of these camcorders are that DVD recordings cannot be edited and the discs are relatively expensive.

Hard drive camcorders allow users to record more video than mini DV or DVD camcorders without switching out tapes or DVDs. These camcorders are very compact, but please note that you need a separate hard drive or DVD burner to archive your videos. Hard drive camcorders that appeared on our top searched list include the Sony HDR-SR5, Panasonic SDR-H200 and Sony DCR-SR300.

Do you know of any good camcorders that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. Looking to purchase a camcorder? Check out AOL Shopping or try searching for camcorders on AOL Search.

If you want more in-depth information on camcorders and the technology behind them, visit Engadget and search on camcorders.

Do You Have a Favorite Video Game?

When I think of video games, I flash back to my childhood days and remember playing games like 'Centipede' and 'Asteroids' on my Atari. Then Nintendo came out and everyone was excited to play games like 'Donkey Kong' and 'Super Mario Brothers'. Today, video games such as 'Wii Fit' and 'Halo' have taken the entertainment experience to another level.

Video games have become so popular that people actually stand in line in front of stores overnight to get the latest releases. For example, look at the sales of 'Grand Theft Auto 4'. On its first day on the shelves, 3.6 million copies were purchased, a retail value of $310 million -- that is unbelievable.

I decided to find out what other video games are popular among our AOL Search users. I wasn't surprised to see 'Super Mario Brothers' on the list. It is the best-selling video game of all time, with over 40 million copies sold to date.

Did your favorite video game show up on our list? If not, please tell us about it or try searching for video games on AOL Search. Also check out GameDaily for video game cheats and free downloads.

Beyoncé Prego and Loni Ties the Knot?

There's so much gossip and so little time -- here's a quick recap of this weekend's highlights.

Pregnancy rumors are swirling for pop star Beyoncé Knowles and her hubby rapper Jay-Z. Neither star has confirmed a pregnancy, but friends speculate that is why the couple had a private wedding last month. In other pregnancy news, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt confirmed they are expecting twins in August.

Although Justin Timberlake's girlfriend Jessica Biel is not pregnant, rumors are that Justin is getting ready to pop the question and settle down.
Speaking of wedding bells, '70s icon Loni Anderson tied the knot this weekend with the founding member of the folk group The Brothers Four, Bob Flick. This is Loni's fourth marriage -- and hopefully her last.

With summer approaching quickly, it's the perfect time to check out Wii Fit, which hit stores today. The latest exercise fad helps you to break a sweat in front of your TV with 40 fitness activities including strength training, aerobics, yoga, skiing and snowboarding.

If you prefer a diet over exercise, you can check out the latest diet fad, Def Jam Detox. It's a 10-day cleansing diet that helps you lose weight by drinking a special cocktail made of cayenne pepper, lemons, and maple syrup. If that sounds gross, you can always try the new Yummie Tummie. It's a tank top designed to slim your midsection, no exercise or dieting necessary.

The new Indiana Jones movie, 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,' premiered in Cannes, while the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards aired last night. Kenny Chesney took home the Entertainer of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year. Other winners included, top male vocalist Brad Paisley, top female vocalist Carrie Underwood, top vocal group Rascal Flatts and top vocal duo Brooks & Dunn.

Well, there you have it. Do you know of any other weekend highlights that didn't show up in our hot searches? If so, please tell us about them.
