Searching For An Anti-Aging Cream?

The other day on the radio I heard that drinking from water bottles can actually accelerate the wrinkles around your mouth. Pretty crazy, but it actually makes sense. If you pucker up in the mirror you will see all those lines around your mouth that one day can be permanent wrinkles.

I really haven't thought that much about wrinkles but it's never too early to start preventing them. I wanted to know what's the best out of all the wrinkle creams. In my research I found a lot of products that claimed they were 'skin tightening' and an 'instant wrinkle smoother'. However, I am not sure I trust all their claims, so I decided to find out what anti-aging creams were popular among our AOL Search users.

Not having used anti-aging creams before, I decided to read some reviews on the creams from our top searched list. Lifecell Skin Care received the highest ratings for its effectiveness and reliability. The only con for this product was the cost for a 30-day supply is about $200. Wrinkle creams that celebrities use can cost even more than this.

Each product has their own individual benefits. Yonka offers different anti-aging creams for day and night. Jan Marini Age Intervention carries a unique product specifically made to condition eyelashes. Obagi is a professional system that is very good for fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Is there an anti-aging cream that you would recommend? If so, please tell us about it. Also try searching for anti-aging creams on AOL Search or shop your favorite brands on AOL Shopping.

Searching For Concert Tickets?

I'm so excited that the warmer weather is finally heading our way. Summer time is always fun for grilling out, relaxing at the pool and of course going to concerts.

I'm tying to figure out what concerts I would like to attend this summer. I decided to find out what the top searched concert tickets are on AOL Search. I wasn't surprised that Jimmy Buffett and the Eagles showed up at the top of the list. Tailgating at a Jimmy Buffett concert can sometimes be more crazy than the actual concert.

I actually attended a Bon Jovi concert and an Elton John concert, but that was about 10 years ago. We had great seats for both concerts and payed only a fraction of the cost that nose bleed tickets for these concerts would be today. From Alicia Keys to Jonas Brothers people are willing to pay over $1,500 per ticket for front row seats. That to me is absolutely insane, especially for a tween band.

Are there any concerts that you are going to attend that did not make the list? If so, please tell us about them. Try searching for concerts on AOL Search or go to AOL Music to learn more about your favorite bands.

What Is Your Favorite Brand of Liquor?

I attended a posh party last weekend where they were only serving top-shelf liquor. When I asked for a margarita, the bartender's response was. "Would you like Cabo Wabo or Patron Silver tequila?" Not being much of a liquor connoisseur, I opted for Cabo Wabo.

I usually drink my margaritas with Jose Cuervo tequila, mojitos with Bacardi rum and white russians with Absolut Vodka. So as you can see, I'm not that familiar with top-shelf liquors. Maybe it's because I enjoy cocktails more than straight up liquor chilled or on the rocks.

I decided to find out which liquor brands are popular among our AOL Search users. As you can see from the list below, the most searched are also the most common types of whiskey, rum, vodka and bourbon.

Did your favorite brand of liquor show up on our list? If not, please tell us about it or try searching for liquor brands on AOL Search.

Depression Is Treatable

I have a friend who just told me that she is suffering from depression. She's actually been battling it for a few years with different types of antidepressants. I can't imagine what she has been going through.

Depression is a common condition in the U.S. According to Mental Health America, more than 19 million Americans have clinical depression. More interestingly, one in eight teens and one in 33 children have clinical depression. Approximately 15 percent of people hospitalized for depression eventually take their own lives -- a tragic statistic.

The good news is, depression is treatable -- 80 percent of people who seek treatment show improvement. I decided to find out what the most searched antidepressants are on AOL Search and discovered that Lexapro, Cymbalta and Zoloft are in the top three spots on the list. (Please remember: Before taking any medication, especially for a serious condition, you should always consult your doctor.)

Do you know of any depression treatments that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. You can read more about depression on AOL Body and search for depression treatments on AOL Search.

Looking for a Digital Camera?

My digital camera stopped working the other day. Now that I have the opportunity to purchase a new digital camera, I'm not really sure which type of camera I really need or want. There are so many choices in the world of digital cameras.
After doing some research, I discovered there are three basic types of digital cameras: point-and-shoot, compact and DSLR (digital single lens reflex). Those types also coincide, retrospectively, to your level of expertise: amateur photographer, the serious amateur/semi-professional and the professional photographer. I started leaning more toward the point-and-shoot camera, I can just snap away and not have to worry about tweaking any settings.

I decided to find out what our top searched digital cameras are on AOL Search. The Nikon D300, Nikon D60 and Canon EOS 40D are at the top of the list for DSLR cameras. If you, like me, are looking for a point-and-shoot, Canon Powershot SD750, Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W90 and Kodak Easyshare V610 are popular among our users.

Do you know of any good digital cameras that did not show up on our list? If so, please tell us about them. Looking to purchase a digital camera? Check out AOL Shopping or try searching for digital cameras on AOL Search.

Rudy Huxtable All Grown Up

There's so much gossip and so little time -- here's a quick recap of this weekend's highlights.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! No, this is not Mexican Independence Day (a common misconception in the US). The holiday commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces over French forces in the Battle of Puebla. It's a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. Check out AOL Latino for more information.

Remember that cute little girl, Rudy Huxtable (Keshia Knight Pulliam) from 'The Cosby Show'? She is all grown up and ready to take on a new role in Tyler Perry's new movie 'Madea Goes to Jail'. Keshia will play an imprisoned prostitute named Candy who is rescued by a fellow inmate Madea. The movie is scheduled to be released sometime in 2009. Check out AOL Movies for additional upcoming films.

Lingerie seemed to be a popular topic for the weekend. Emma Heming, Bruce Willis's (much younger) girlfriend will be modeling for La Senza lingerie, while Kim Kardashian, poses in lingerie for Ralph Magazine.

As for sports, the Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the NY Rangers in overtime and advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in seven years. Sadly, the Kentucky Derby horse Eight Belles had to be put down after breaking both front ankles, following a second-place finish.

Don't forget Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 11th. Need a gift? Check out AOL Yellow Pages for a local florist, spa or restaurant. Also try searching for Mother's Day gifts on AOL Search.

Well, there you have it. Do you know of any other weekend highlights that didn't show up in our hot searches? If so, please tell us about them.

What Is Your Favorite Luxury Item?

I finally decided it was time to treat myself to some luxury bedding, so I went to the store and purchased high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, pillowcases and a silk comforter. The expense was well worth it.

Looking for a Foreclosure?

"Foreclosures" may sound like a great word if you are currently looking to purchase a house. I have a girlfriend who just purchased a house for about $100,000 less than other (similar) homes in the neighborhood because it was a foreclosure.

The increase in foreclosures and defaults is largely tied to people with adjustable rate mortgages and subprime loans. The Mortgage Bankers Association reported that high numbers of foreclosures in Florida, Nevada and California are caused by speculators who walk away from their properties since home prices have fallen in those states.

Believe it or not, there are actually foreclosed houses for $50,000. I decided to find out what the top searched U.S, cities for foreclosures are on AOL Search. As you can see Las Vegas is at the top of our list, followed by Atlanta and Houston. If you're in the market for a house, then foreclosures may be a great option for you.

Do you have any foreclosure stories that you would like to share? If so tell us about them. Check out AOL Real Estate and search for foreclosure homes on AOL Search to find listings.
